ZOOOOOM!
So, I'm pretty sick. I mean, not really all that bad, but enough to keep me from doing what I should be doing in a normal work day (however, even I don't know what that is half the time). I'm coming off the tail end of it, but I'm still pretty messed up. I was going to go with the old standard pain reliever: DayQuil. Never steered me wrong before. Though my track record with tylenol has been less than amiable, I noticed something interesting in the store: "New! TYLENOL Cold&Flu Severe with Instant CoolBurst". Cold AND Flu? Severe? Cool Burst? It sold me. Looks just like a DayQuil bottle, only instead of tasting like orange, it tastes like blue.

I think I took a bit too much, because now the acetaminophen started to kick in and I can't think straight. I mean, I guess downing about half the bottle was a bad idea. So now it's hard to stay focused and my digits feel like they're made out of jell-o. And oh yes. I seem to be rambling.

But darnit, my sore throat is gone!

HOLY CARP!!!
:(

That's so sad AL.

I hope you feel better soon.

And i can sympathise. My tooth ache (well, more like tooth agony) still hasn't cleared so i've been hitting the bonjela pretty seriously. I started to drool today in my maths lesson after applying my 5th dose in 10 minutes! :leaving:

:P

Haven't checked out the other ingredients, A.L. Watch out with TYlenol, though. Overdoses cause liver failure.

I can't think straight.

I saw a guy wearing a t-shirt like that yesterday -- was that you???

Hope you feel better -- remember: "Better living through chemistry"

[Start nagging mom voice]

Be careful with those over-the-counters!
Didn't something happen to our friend Lady E for taking over-the-counters?
I've known sooo many people get messed up for drinking a half a bottle of NyQuil.
And the bottle says "severe"! How many times do I have to tell you not to drink half a bottle of something that says,"severe"?
Thank God your great grandpa Josiah isn't around to see this. :veryangry:

Glad to hear your sore throat is gone Aqua!

Geez, you all aren't kidding. Apparently you can take tylenol every day for years and years (in addition to alcohol consumption) and never have a problem, but one overdose and it's goodbye liver.

Well, no nausea, no abdominal pains, no diarrhea, and no loss of appetite. So far, so good.
