HOLY CARP!!!
|
Haven't opened any bags of Hallowe'en candy yet. Came home with enough goodies for about 300 little goblins yesterday (we average about 250, but better be on the safe side, eh?) Those miniature coffee crisps are winking at me though.

You must be swamped this time of year Sue!? Compared to me anyway. We have still to get our candy bags ready.

Yes, it's a really big event here. We live on a loop road, houses fairly close together, so just about everybody comes to our neighbourhood (live on an island). We love it; the majority of the neighbourhood goes all out with decorations, lights, etc. And our volunteer firemen put on a fabulous fireworks display at the lagoon, which is a quick walk from our area. Unfortunately, the weather prediction is for rain. Still will be a great night, though.

I've lived in far more urban areas, and Hallowe'en was almost non-existant (too many razor blades in apples/poison scares). It wasn't till we moved here, a community with tons of kids, that I've experienced a really festive Hallowe'en. Maybe you should pop over here too, MP!

I would love to Sue - i wish i could.![]() I used to live on quite a big estate when i was little and the festivities amongst me and the other children were wonderful. We would always have a party at someones house with apple bopping and games then all go out together. Then we moved out to the sticks in the middle of nowhere and not even a carved pumpkin. x |
