Very important, I think. Remember, Bill is a curse breaker. Harry is going to need to break many curses in order to get to the Horcruxes, let alone destroy them. I think Bill is going to be prominent in book 7.
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

I hope not, otherwise Mrs. Weasley will cry and that would make me upset.

I wonder if Percy will return; what do you think? I hope it doesn't take a Weasley death to bring him back, but I suspect that it will.. :(
