So how the heck are they going to fit in all the events of GoF without making a 4 hour movie? We already know that the Quidditch World Cup is cut significantly (totally?) If you've seen the trailors, then it's pretty easy to see that the Triwizard Tournament is the main focus (of course), but how much of the other little bits are they going to include? Since JKR has the power to approve or veto anything that goes into the films, and she's already said that if she were to do it again she'd have changed a few minor things about the GoF book, do you think she'll use it as an opportunity to do so? Do you think they'll bother getting into Harry's infatuation with Cho? Is it crucial enough to the plot? Do they need to include it to set it up for the OotP movie? What about Krum and Hermione? Will that be included? Has anyone read anything concrete about what's going and what's staying? I've been so focused on the books that I haven't really paid attention to the movie gossip! |

I think that the romances will be covered in quite a lot of detail; annoyingly so. That's what most movie-goers like to see: romance. And remember in the PoA movie Ron and Hermione's thing was covered rather prematurely; they don't start acting like a married couple truly until the 4th book. |

Death is simply a shedding of the physical body like the butterfly shedding its cocoon. It is a transition to a higher state of consciousness where you continue to perceive, to understand, to laugh, and to be able to grow. - Dr. Elizabeth Kubler-Ross | |
