Maybe there was some self-selection bias? Or maybe he's right, that that's what most of the soldiers think. It doesn't mean that they are right either. I can respect them and the job they do without agreeing with their political views. Either way, I certainly agree with one thing he says that the soldiers said. We will win. We will win because we have to win, we have too much invested not to win, and W has no desire to be tagged by history with another Vietnam. |
