The End of Religious Freedom in Canada???; with an explicit attack on Catholicism

Cheers Steve, but the article was satire. Also don't tell JBryan or Gryphon they ain't got no sense of humour- those are two engineers who may get a bit testy at the suggestion.

I suspect only those who don't know how Engineers really think would have thought that article to be serious. But no way can I get Engineers to worry about their public image. They (as well as I) are so happy like pigs in doo doo that most, but not all, don't really care.

Well, I certainly grant you JBryan -- there is always the exception that proofs the rule.

Thanks much, Ivory. You really like to make an asshole out of yourself sometimes, don't you.

Stick to Architecture where the static design makes you think that society can be designed that way. You don't have a clue as to the way the real world really works. You really think the Theologists you read in getting your PhD had a clue too. Just like the celibate priests really know how to dispense useful advice about how married people should live and who should be allowed to marry.

Your comment in another thread about never wanting retire is also naive at best. Wait until you've been in the field about 20 or 30 years before you make such a statement.

But you're really a good kid. Just wet behind the ears that's all.

Gee that was fun.

The radical liberal types do in fact believe Canada is monolithic.

I'm pretty sure I would fit into your "radical liberal type" category, AC, and I can say very definitively that I have NEVER considered Canada to be monolithic. On the contrary. It's actually one of the reasons I'm very much for rep by pop.

A little testy, Frank? My little joke seems to have proven the rule with you! :smokin:

I've been practicing architecture for over 20 years now, and still loving it. How old do you think I am, anyway???

No, Dol, its the dumb American democrats who think you are all fellow travellers (as evinced by the graphic I posted).

Oh good.

And I'm glad I didn't start this post the way I had it before editing. I'm not sure "Are you daft!??!" would have gone over as well ;)

Ref by pop bugs hell out of me. Means that some NDP type could end up speaking on behalf of one or two Albertans in Ottawa. Unacceptable.
