I Owe It All To John D'Oh
I saw it yesterday with the kids. I thought it was brilliant. Roald Dahl and Tim Burton were meant for each other.

If you can, see it in IMAX.
It would be unwise to underestimate what large groups of ill-informed people acting together can achieve. -- John D'Oh, January 14, 2010.

Oh I wish! I bet that was awesome.

I also had two fat older guys behind me that had the LOUDEST and funniest laugh...so since this was a comedy, it made me (and my friends) crack up even more.

HOLY CARP!!!
I think I'm going to go and see this tomorrow. My ex has Liam for the afternoon, and since I don't have a computer and am done Harry Potter, I have nothing to do!

I'll let you know when I get home what I thought! I (briefly) considered taking Liam to see it (he really likes the original) but even though it's rated G in Canada it's rated PG in the US. Besides, it looks like it might be a bit creepy, and 118 minutes is a long flick for a 3 year old!
