Ten Commandments: On government land, not in courthouses. I don't really care either way. Our laws are not currently being ruled based on the Ten Commandments, so it doesn't really matter. I'm glad they can be put on gov't property, but I don't see why not in a court either. Some of the Ten Commandments were the foundation for our country including some of our most unique and biggest laws. It would be nice to see them acknowledge our history. Also, we aren't establishing a religion with the displaying of the Ten Commandments...so why would it be illegal? 90% of the USA are "christians" so I don't see the problem. Bottom line? Personally, it would be nice...but either way, it doesn't really matter. File-Sharing: Companies, that promote software that is unofficially (but obviously) used for illegal music and movie downloading, can be sued. I agree with it...but what happens to the individual downloader? |

You're right Dol, I just checked the Census. I've heard many figures from 80% - 96%, but for U.S. adults, it's 76.7%, still quite alot. Actually it's 160 million Christians as compared to 8 million any-other-religion and 29 million non-religion. Still quite the overwhelming majority though. You'd have to almost quintuple the number of non-Christians in the USA to match the number of Christians. Now I'm all for a democratic vote on the issue.
