HOLY CARP!!!
:excited: 63.9 MPG for the entire tank that took me 628.4 miles. :excited:

I really tried to top 64.
I just about pushed the car to the gas station.

Air conditioning season is almost here. :mad2:

I'll probably drop down in the 50s. :(

it's OK Kenny!

Big cleansing breath!

Breathe in.

Hold it.

Breathe out.

Good!

Now revel in the fact that you get about 5 times better gas mileage with your air conditioner turned on than I do with it turned off!

You are doing great with this MPG thing. You should be proud. I would like to be able to practically own a small gas miser of a vehicle but with three kids and a dog and a camper that is simply not in the cards at the present time.

 Where did you find 628.4 miles that were all down-hill with a tail wind? :thumb:

Just kidding. That's fairly amazing.

Kenny-

One of the vehicles in my vast fleet of dilapidated construction equipment is a car hauler trailer.

How about we put your hybrid on it, haul it up to Big Bear and then coast it all the way down? When you get to the bottom, we'll haul it back up again; repeating until the tank is empty. We'll take a picture of the dash monitor before you fill it up for the drive home. I'll bet you can do much better than 100 mpg, and 150 would not be out of the question.

Shouldn't take more than a week, and you will be the envy of all of yor hybrid-website buddies. All you'll have to do is pay for the gas my truck uses hauling your car up the mountain - should be somewhere around 9MPG with the trailer and the mountain grades...

Need something with ridiculous towing capacity, comfort, and burns biodiesel?

VW Toureg TDI!
310 horsepower
553 lb-ft of torque

... @ about 2000 rpm

runs on soy! camper, kids, dogs, no problem. Heck, you can throw your house on the back of this thing and it will tow it while idling.

Let's get you over 64!

1) How's your tire pressure?

2) Oil change?

3) Take off your radio antenae.

4) Do you really need that spare tire?

5) New air filter

6) New plugs

7) Get the timing adjusted

8) Crash diet and lose 10 pounds

9) Do you need that back seat?
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.
