HOLY CARP!!!
All of this flag burning amendment stuff is crap.

Crap that will continue to erode the rights of freedom loving people. Something that has been going on for well over 100 years now.

I thought we (America) were all about the love of freedom.

I guess I was wrong.

Do you think they will ban the confederate flag?

Will we eventually give in to the monster we call the federal government all of our rights to protest, redress grievances, etc?

Already the government refuses to hear redress of grievances when it comes to the income tax and apparently this is just fine and dandy with some of you.

My guess is that AMT will be more of a political hot button for tax reform once more Americans get affected by it, than flag burning will ever be as a politico-cultural issue.

Should Swastikas be banned?
The dogma lives loudly within me.

No!

As much as I abhor the nazi philosophy, the nazis have freedom of expression here just like the commies, lefties, righties, inbetweenies etc.

Freedom of speech SHALL NOT be abridged.

Amendment 1 - Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

There are FEW statements, if any, that summate what the USA stands for than that very sentence.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
