Jolly, where do you find all of these news stories? I mean, it's fine and all, but you post like a dozen a day from different sources each time. I know even the drudge report doesn't have all of these stories.

The eyeball-popping irony of it! Tony and his cronies have done more to inflict the Orwellian Police state on the beleaguered British Public than anyone could have possibly imagined. We're getting ID cards that no-one wants but everyone has to pay for, we're the most surveilled country on the planet and we're soon to have pay-as-you-go road charging schemes run by GPS charging per mile.

Tony Blair is an irresponsible, hypocritical, devious, conniving, thieving, duplicitous cretin.

Yes -- but he's your irresponsible, hypocritical, devious, conniving, thieving, duplicitous cretin.

Actually, I think there's sufficient evidence to describe him as George Bush's irresponsible, hypocritical, devious, conniving, thieving, duplicitous cretin.

It sounds so much better than "poodle" - don't you think?

And before that he was Clinton's "poodle". :)

Well that's the most precise description of the Labour Party I've heard since Harold Wilson's time.

It's quite an achievement to be even worse than NuLabour but the Conservatives somehow managed it (again). I voted Liberal - come on, you know I did! They were slightly better than all the rest. I would have voted Labour but I couldn't bring myself to vote for that grinning buffoon ever again. There are some decent people in the Labour party of course, and ones who will even stand up to the PM. I find the Tories amoral vacuums who played the recent election rather tastelessly, assuming the British people were stupid enough to vote them in on the back of Labour's continued failure on immigration. God forbid they'd do something radical like overhaul the tax system so that stealth taxing is minimal and funding of public services is transparent...
