This question was asked in the WTF. I feel remiss for not having asked it here sooner.

Where are you, bachophile?

We should tolerate eccentricity in others, almost to the point of lunacy, provided no one else is harmed.

bachophile had gone missing because he was busy. He was probably saving lives. TomK is dissing Israel. At least, that's what I get out of it. Partially, I agree with some of TomK's thoughts. I'd hate for the US to be led by the nose by Israel. But, FWIW, I absolutely deplore his dissing bachophile's patriotism.

Does that make sense?

Am I wrong, Tom?

bach and I have something in common.

I once made a critical remark about Israel--bach showed me pictures of DEATH CAMPS.

My grandparents died in German death camps in Poland in WWII.

Small world. :)

NAK, my daughter's taking a break from C de L after two pages--now doing Dr. Gadus ad Parnassum. Heard it on NPR's From the Top this weekend. Really loved it.

Hey, Tom. I've got an outstanding recording of Doctor Gradus ad Parnassum that I'm sure your daughter would love to hear! PM me if you're interested. I have to go up for dinner right now, but I could email it to you when I'm done.

funny, read the same thread in WTF.

the moderation threshold there seems quite high.

for those who want to know, tom and i are not on speaking terms currently.

i presume it will remain so.

lots of love to all the rest.
