Hey Gang Can anyone recommend the most lethal poison to spray unwanted blackberries with to get rid of them down to the roots. I'm hoping to find something like industrial strength Roundup or similar. Any advice? I've got an acre or two that could really use a good de-berrying. Cheers, Mark |

Those berries are so good. Roundup should do it. I had a bush i loved until it got out of control. i recall just taking the machete to it and it did not return. But seriously, the berries are very good. jf |

Roundup is sold in a couple of different strengths. Get thee to wherever the landscape companies go (or to a farm supply place) and get the good stuff. Blackberries are tough, so you will probably have to hit them a couple of times. |

This is the wild blackberry capital of the world. They are impossible to kill. You need a bulldozer and a goat. Jodi

Does the bull dozer follow the goat or vice versa? This is an important detail. |

The bulldozer gets the big stuff out. The goat keeps it from coming back. Unfortunately, the goat also keeps you from planting anything else there as well. Goats are actually kind of a pain in the *ss. The stable I kept my horse at had one. They were always climbing on the cars, and getting into trouble. One day, came out and found the goat sitting in my passenger seat. I guess he jumped in the window. jodi
