It took me long enough, but I finally had a chance to sit down and iron out the basics for this RPG idea I promised. I do not know if anyone is still interested in taking on a new RPG, but since I was the one who initiated the idea, I figured I had best keep my word and follow through with it. Whether or not we put this one into motion is up to you guys and gals. I have already given a basic summary, but here is the teaser. Can’t have an epic tale without a teaser, right? OoOoOoO THE FORGE OoOoOoO There is a legend spanning the depths of time and the gap between dimensions. It speaks of a wondrous treasure, a device capable of granting any wish whatsoever. Crafted by an ancient race, which has long since vanished from the annals of history, this hidden machine is a treasure without equal. And now many seek it—and its powers—for themselves. Some wish for harmony, others unconquerable power, while a dangerous few harbor still deeper, darker ambitions. The time for adventure is now. OoOoOoO INFO: I usually do not give too much background information, for fear of ruining plot twists and future ideas. But for this RPG, I believe a bit of information is needed. As you know, the device in question is a machine that can alter the very fabric of reality. Its proper name is the Forge of Creation. Hence, the name of this RPG. Knowledge of this machine spans many dimensions, though it can only be found in a specific one. Here is the gist of the Forge’s backstory. At some point in the distant past, its creators realized just how powerful the machine actually was. The potential for disaster was far too great. The Forge could not be destroyed (or they could not bring themselves to destroy what they had made, the stories vary), so instead they hid it away. They hoped it would stay hidden forever. But a few could not let go of their pride or ambition, and so there remain ways to find it. Enter in a few other unique machines/devices. The first one is known as the Map of Infinity. Simply put, it is a map of the entire multi-verse. You could navigate your way anywhere or anywhen with the Map of Infinity. It can be used to find the way to the Forge of Creation. To do that, though, you would need the machine’s actual location, or its coordinates. These coordinates are not included with the Map of Infinity, either. Until those directions are implemented with the Map, the Forge of Creation simply does not exist. The coordinates are stored within a compass. Another special device connected to the Forge is the Eternity Engine. With it, any craft (car, spaceship, what have you) can not only jump into any dimension whatsoever with complete ease, it can travel without fuel, and—most importantly—it can survive the trip to the Forge’s protected location. There is more than one Eternity Engine out there. However, they are very, very rare. *Note: As there is more than one Eternity Engine, there is more than one way to travel between dimensions. However, the majority of these means are quite dangerous and unpredictable. Do it wrong, or if one bit of your calculations are off, you risk ending up trapped in a pocket dimension or outright killed. The Eternity Engine is simply the safest, most efficient way of reaching other dimensions, and even then you must know what you are doing. Another device is the Key, which is needed to actually start up the Forge of Creation. Legend has it the Key has been broken up into at least four pieces. All of these devices (and perhaps some others) are hidden throughout the dimensions. They were hidden by the Forge’s creators, and at least one has been protected for generations by that race’s descendents. In other words, if you want to get to the Forge of Creation, you first must locate the lost items. If you want, you can choose an item you would like to be located in your character’s dimension. Or it can be in a dimension where you will be in charge of the plot. One of the best things about our RPGs, I think, is that we build the plot together. It is not headlined by one person, but by many. It will be the same here. Plot points don’t always have to deal with the quest for the Forge, either. This is a journey story, with lots and lots of locales. I imagine our heroes (and villains) will run into a great deal of adventures, even as they search for the Forge of Creation. It was the same in Outlaw Star. I owe a lot of this plot to that awesome show. I will say, though, that I already have plans for the Map of Infinity. Its discovery, in fact, is the launching point for this RPG. OoOoOoO Now on to characters… Your character can be from any franchise whatsoever, or he or she (or they) can be original creations. It is entirely up to you, as is your character’s motivations in the story. I will go ahead and say that my villains are an alternate version of Project Harmony. They are led by our old friend Sage—yeah, the aggressive psychopath. Keep in mind this Project Harmony is NOT the same Project Harmony in Redemption 2. In this alternate-verse/timeline, Sage made her move much earlier. She backstabbed Atmos and the loyalists to Director White, and then quickly rose to the top with the help of the more warmongering members of the Board and the organization as a whole. Not all of Project Harmony will be evil, of course. Luke is around in this verse too. But finding out who to trust is a very tricky deal. Even the “good” guys may use the heroes to push their own agenda, especially since not everyone is happy with having Sage as the Director. As for my hero, I will be putting him up as soon as I can. Yeah. You read me right. It is a guy. I have played as male characters before, but usually as side-characters to my main hero. I’m mixing it up here. OoOoOoO You guys and gals know the drill when it comes to signing up for characters. You’re pros. Just give a name and a brief description, and perhaps a nod to what franchise they come from, and you should be good to go. So if you are interested, have at it. |

Alright! Awesome. I'll start things off by adding the one character I know I want to use. The Doctor. Character: The Doctor Franchise: Doctor Who Bio: Appearing in this RPG in his 11th incarnation (as portrayed by Matt Smith) The Doctor is a figure right out of legend. He has appeared all throughout time and space and in many dimensions. He possesses a great knowledge of many things, including the Forge of creation. Unlike most, the Doctor's main goal in this particular adventure is for the forge to remain as it is. Hidden away, forgotten and unused. To that end, he will act as a foil to both heroes and villains, but on matters not related to the forge he may deem to cooperate on the side of good. I'm toying with the idea that this Doctor and the Doctor from KHO are, in fact, one and the same. Only that doctor was the 10th, and this doctor the 11th. |

Okay, well, I have plenty of characters I think I can use here. All of them relating to Sonic. Yeah, I know, I can never resist using any of the Sonic characters when it comes to these. I'll be posting these bios one at a time, and all of these characters will be coming from the main video game continuity. So, in the case of the games, this RP will be taking place in between Sonic Generations, and the upcoming Sonic Lost World. I'll start my list of bios off with the main blue dude himself. Character: Sonic the Hedgehog Franchise: Sonic the Hedgehog Theme Music: Reach for the Stars Bio: From mad scientists, to ancient deities of destruction, this blue hedgehog has fought all sorts of evil. Capable of running faster than the speed of sound, Sonic is a hedgehog who plays by his own rules rather than the standards of the world around him. A free spirit not willing to be tied down by anyone, or anything. He can be rather rude and impolite at times, but despite that, he has a strong sense of justice, and will always be ready to help those in danger. Constantly foiling the plans of his archenemy, the evil Dr. Eggman, in this adventure, he will eventually learn that Eggman's latest scheme will involve his discovery of the ancient device known as the Forge of Creation. And though he himself has no real need for a machine capable of altering reality, he knows that in the hands of someone like Eggman, it'd be nothing but trouble. And so, he'll stop at nothing to ensure that Eggman, and anyone else with less than noble intentions, do not get their hands on it. |

Alright. I've got a few more to put on the table Four to be precise. Two heroes, two villains. It's gonna get a little crazy up in here. Character: Avatar Korra Franchise: Avatar: The Last Airbender / The Legend of Korra Bio: The latest in a long, reincarnating line of Avatars, Korra has only recently defeated the terrorist revolutionary, Amon, and saved the city she calls home. While already a master of the bending arts fro Water, Earth, and Fire, she has only recently unlocked her ability to airbend, and struggles with the spiritual aspect of being the Avatar. This fact frustrates her deeply, and she grows ever more impatient. When she finds out about the Forge of Creation, she designs to use it to wish her way into being a fully realized Avatar. Character: Perry the Platypus, A.K.A. Agent P. Franchise: Phineas and Ferb Bio: Trained by the organization O.W.C.A., Perry the Platypus is the best secret animal agent one is likely to find. He is even better than many humans one might find in a similar field. While he generally lives his life as the pet of two (unusually intelligent) boys from the tri-state area, he sneaks off during the day to do battle with the frighteningly inept evil scientist Dr. Doofenshmirtz, with whom he shares an unusual best friend / arch enemy relationship. Being a platypus, Perry cannot talk. He merely vocalizes in a chattering "gedda-gedda-gedda" sound. He prefers to let his actions speak for him, leaving others to interpret what he means through body language. Character: Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz Franchise: Phineas and Ferb Bio: The life Heinz Doofenshmirtz is sad, pathetic, and littered with psychologically scarring incidents. Bitter that his life was, and is so much worse that that of younger brother, Roger, many of Doofenshmirtz's plans and schemes are to take for his own that which his brother has. Weather it be taking over the tri-state area which his bother is the mayor of, or just trying to win mommy's love. All with the use of his various "inators". His latest scheme is no different. Upon learning of the power of the Forge of Creation, Dr. D determines it must be his so he can wish his way into a better life than his brother's. Character: Drakus the Shadow Dragon Franchise: Original character (from my Stardonia storyline) Bio: You know him, you love to hate him. It's DRAKUS! Appearing here with his usual entourage of underlings. While not the same Drakus, he will most closely resemble the Drakus from Odyssey. Once the shadow of the dragon prince of Stardonia, Drakus was brought to life through dark and ancient magics performed by Prince Xipz himself when he was but a young drake. In an attempt to create a doppelganger of himself so as to avoid his princely duties, Prince Xipz turn to ancient magics he did not fully understand. The resulting being quickly became too powerful for the young drake to control, and it took control of the kingdom with its army of evil shadow beings. |

Second bio. Character: Dr. Eggman Franchise: Sonic the Hedgehog Theme Music: E.G.G.M.A.N. Doc Robeatnix Mix Bio: Dr. Ivo Robotnik, usually referred to as Dr. Eggman, is an evil scientist with an IQ of 300, using his great intellect to build all sorts of robots, doomsday machines, and bases, all for the goal of world domination. And yet, despite his brilliant mind and intelligence, he is almost always bested by one blue, faster-than-sound hedgehog, mocking the evil doctor, ruining his plans, and spinning straight through his machines like a hot knife through butter. He also has two floating bumbling servant robots following him everywhere, Orbot, and Cubot. Orbot is the smarter of the two, a little red robot who, while loyal to Eggman, has a bit of a sarcastic side, and tries to point out some of the flaws in Eggman's plans, even if the doctor is too stubborn to listen. The little yellow robot, Cubot, meanwhile, is about as sharp as a marble, never really focusing on what everyone else is focused on. His voice chip is constantly on the fritz. In this adventure, after having found his way back to his own timeline after the Time Eater fiasco, Eggman will soon come to learn of an ancient machine known as the Forge of Creation, capable of altering the very fabric of reality. As soon as he learns what this could mean for him, he will do all he can to get it. He will, of course, join forces with any other evil villain looking for the Forge themselves, but Eggman's not exactly the kind of person willing to share with anyone, so there's no doubt that once they come across the Forge, he will attempt to stab his allies in the back, and take the machine for himself. If the Forge falls into his hands, all of reality will be at the mercy of the Eggman Empire. UPDATE: Third bio. Character: Miles "Tails" Prower Franchise: Sonic the Hedgehog Theme Music: Believe in Myself (SA2 Version) Bio: Miles Prower, better known by his nickname Tails, is a 10-year-old fox with a huge knack for mechanics. At a younger age, he used to be picked on by others for his love for tinkering with machines, and especially for having been born with two tails. But after he first met Sonic, he received a major boost in self-confidence, and put his tails to good use, such as twirling them around like helicopter propellers to fly. As the years went by, Tails came to idolize his best friend Sonic, who sees him as a younger brother. And while it's nice to have an idol, Tails has also learned to become much more independent. In this adventure, though he doesn't have any real need for a machine such as the Forge, he also knows that reality could be in real danger were it to fall into the hands of someone like Dr. Eggman. So, he will join his friend Sonic in searching for the machine, and securing it, hoping that no one with evil purposes gets a hold of it. UPDATE: Fourth bio Character: Metal Sonic Franchise: Sonic the Hedgehog Theme Music: Metal Sonic boss music from Sonic 4: Episode II Bio: Created long ago by Dr. Eggman to match his archenemy's speed and skills, Sonic's robotic doppelganger has since then been rebuilt and upgraded many times, having been wrecked by his rival time and time again. Even with all of these losses, however, Metal Sonic has come close to defeating Sonic in battle many times, and to this day, is still one of his deadliest enemies. Along with having the speed, agility, and skills of Sonic, he is also equipped with a forcefield called the Black Shield, a laser beam that can be fired from his torso, and is able to copy other people's abilities, and use those skills against them. He once betrayed Dr. Eggman, and tried to take on Sonic on his own. After Sonic beat him, Eggman took some precautions so that Metal Sonic would never turn on him again. Now, Metal Sonic is once more a cold, emotionless, and deadly robot, forever loyal and obedient to his master. Metal Sonic will be accompanying Eggman in his quest to search for the Forge of Creation, and rule all of reality. And whatever Eggman orders Metal Sonic, the robot will carry out that order without question, even if it means killing someone. UPDATE: Fifth, and FINAL (for now) bio. Character: Amy Rose Franchise: Sonic the Hedgehog Theme Music: My Sweet Passion Bio: A young pink hedgehog, Amy's first encounter with Sonic was when Eggman made a move to conquer the Little Planet. Eggman had ordered Metal Sonic to kidnap Amy to distract Sonic in a bid to gather the Time Stones, and go back into the past to establish his empire, before the hedgehog could become a problem. However, Sonic quickly caught on, and with a little time travel, destroyed Eggman's hold on the past, and collected all the Time Stones. After a final race with Metal Sonic, Sonic saved Amy, and the Little Planet. Amy was immediately in love with him, and has harboured a HUGE crush on him since. A feeling that he's not sure he reciprocates. Whenever she comes running, he is not at all hesitant to turn and run for the hills. Amy has grown stronger, and much more independent since then, exercising, and wielding a giant hammer in battle. Amy will be joining Sonic and Tails on this journey to find the Forge, and though she knows it's important not to let Eggman, or any other villains get their hands on it, she also has her own purposes for the machine, thinking it may help give her a chance with Sonic... |

YAY! Okay, so I've got a few characters to play. Potentially more, if more pop into my head. Right now, I've got two heroes and two villains. Here they are:Name: Jackson Overland Frost (Other names include: Father Frost, Old Man Winter, and Jokul Frosti (Icicle Frost), though he prefers to go by Jack Frost.) Appearance: Jack is young in appearance, forever stuck at the age of 17, despite being hundreds of years old, with pale white skin, and hair whiter than snow. His eyes are an icy blue color, with the depiction of an icicle hiding within his irises. He normally wears a frosty, blue hoody and a pair of brown trousers, bound with lighter material starting from the knee down to the rather tattered and frayed bottom. He is always barefoot, and carries around a magic staff with a G-Shaped tip, resembling a shepherd's crook. Bio: Before Jack Frost became who he is now, Jack was once a human being who had a family of his own, over 300 years ago. Like his current form, Jack was mischievous and he liked to have fun and play tricks on his friends and his sister. But, while they were ice skating, Jack and his little sister quickly found themselves in a jam when the ice started to crack and break. Jack, thinking quickly, made up a game of Hopscotch. Using his staff, Jack saved his sister from the cracking ice, at the cost of his own life. The Man in the Moon saw Jack's act of selflessness and heroism. He shined his light down on Jack, turning him into a Winter Spirit. Jack rose from the icy waters, no longer the boy he was before. He had transformed into Jack Frost, giving him an incredible power over ice and snow. However, in the process he lost his memories as a human. He immediately set out on his adventures of fun and mischief. But his fun didn't help his loneliness. Everywhere Jack went, no one, save for the Guardians (Santa Claus, the Sandman, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, and the Man in the Moon), could see or hear him. 300 years passed by with no one ever knowing that Jack was there. But one spring, Pitch Black, otherwise known as the Boogy Man, unleashed a plot that would rid the world of the Guardians forever, thus throwing the children of the world into a state of fear. Jack was chosen to become a Guardian, and he joined forces with the other Guardians to bring Pitch Black down, and to reclaim his lost memories that Pitch had stolen. After much hardship, Jack retrieved his stolen memories from Pitch Black; they were concealed in a tooth box filled with his old baby teeth. With them, he remembers who he was and realizes why he was chosen to be a Guardian. He helps the other Guardians stop Pitch, saving the children of the world, and accepts his responsibilities as the Guardian of Fun. Now, Jack Frost continues his life of fun and freedom, all the while watching over the children of the world. However, the peace was short-lived, only lasting for about a year. The Man in the Moon called out to his Guardians once more when Pitch makes his presence known again. Jack learns that Pitch is now seeking a magic item, known as the Forge, that can grant wishes. For fear of what Pitch could do, Jack sets out on a mission to stop Pitch, insisting that the other Guardians stay to care for the children, putting all of the pressure of saving the world, again, on Jack's shoulders. Name: Daenerys Targaryen (Other names include: Dany, Daenerys Stormborn, The Unburnt, Mother of Dragons, Mother, The Silver Queen, Silver Lady, The Dragon Queen, etc.) Appearance: Daenerys is a young and beautiful girl, around the age of 17. She is short in stature, and is deemed very beautiful with her creamy skin, sun-browned by travel, violet eyes and long silver-blonde hair that her household is known for. Bio: Daenerys Targaryen is the only daughter, and youngest child, of the previous king Aerys II Targaryen, the last of the dragonlords. She was conceived during the last few months of the rebellion of the Seven Kingdoms, where the Targaryen dynasty ended. When she was young, all Dany had ever known was exile, drifting around between the Free Cities, dependent entirely on her cruel older brother, Viserys. For a long time, Viserys was called the Beggar King, as they searched the streets for any who would help him in his cause to reclaim the throne that was stolen from him, in Westeros. They finally received the help they sought in the Free City of Pentos, moving in with a rich and powerful Magister, Illyrio Mopatis. She grew up meek and afraid, with little self-esteem or confidence. It wasn't until her brother and Magister Illyrio arrange her to marry a powerful Dothraki horselord, Khal Drogo, when she was just thirteen, that she started to change. At first, she didn't wish to marry him, recognizing that her marriage was no different from being sold into slavery. Her brother had only had the marriage arranged so that he could get an army from Drogo, in an attempt to retake his throne in Westeros, the Seven Kingdoms. She marries Khal Drogo, becoming his Khaleesi. For her wedding presents, she is given three new handmaids, a beautiful silver filly, and three petrified dragon eggs, in honor of her marriage and of her being the "blood of the dragon." At first, Dany struggles to grow accustomed to her new life as a Khaleesi, though she is determined to embrace it. She eventually loses all fear of the Dothraki and of her brother, forming strong feelings of love for her husband, Khal Drogo. DUE TO THE FACT THAT I DO NOT WISH TO RUIN TOO MUCH OF THE GAME OF THRONES SERIES, FOR THOSE THAT ARE READING IT, IF YOU HAVE NOT GOTTEN VERY FAR AND DO NOT WISH TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF CRAZINESS THAT DANY GETS HERSELF INTO AFTER HER MARRIAGE TO DROGO, DO NOT READ THIS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Spoiler: click to toggle I'm cutting it short, if only because if I continued, this would take forever. However, Daenerys becomes a fierce leaders, guiding her khalasar through each of the Free Cities, freeing as many slaves as she is able, and proving her excellence in military strategy. She is seen as a charismatic leader, known for her skill, determination, scholarly mind and strong sense of justice, becoming a Queen with millions of followers by the age of 17. Her only weaknesses as a ruler are that she is still young and relatively inexperienced; but her keen intellect and her ability to learn quickly from her mistakes makes her a much more capable leader than most. When she hears word of a magic device, called the Forge, her curiosity is peaked. Something like that would be very beneficial to her cause in reclaiming her throne. She begins a quest to claim it, in hopes of being able to end the bloodshed in the Free Cities and in Westeros, and place herself back onto the Iron Throne. Jeez, that was long. Also, Xipz, this should be very interesting to see how Dany and Drakus react to each other. Lawl. I'll be posting more later. Now, I must rest. |

Was listening to some Sonic music when I came up with my character bios. Took another look at them, and figured, "Eh, I think I can include some theme music that could be associated with these characters too." You can look those songs up on YouTube if you'd like. |

Here are my characters for this RPG. First up are the villains. OoOoOoO NAME: Sage AGE: mid 30s FRANCHISE: None (Original Character) DESCRIPTION: Sage is a tall woman, with icy blue eyes and short-cropped brown hair. She boasts a sharp-looking face, scarred by many battles—she is a hardened sort of beautiful. She wears the no-nonsense uniform of Project Harmony, as well as a badge denoting her position as the Director of Project Harmony. She also carries a vast array of weaponry, ranging from a pistol to a kodachi. PERSONALITY: Brutal is perhaps the best word to describe Sage. She has a “take no prisoners” attitude, will do absolutely anything if it means enjoying a successful mission, and tends to be overly aggressive when angered. Mercy is simply not in her vocabulary. Despite her hot temper, she is a fierce and capable warrior, dedicated to Project Harmony—or at least those who are loyal to her. She never backs down, and for all her vicious ways she can be quite charismatic. HISTORY: Sage is a member of Project Harmony, a group dedicated to preserving balance throughout the multi-verse. Her uncle is a member of the Board of Directors, and she followed in his footsteps once she was old enough to enter the ranks. Sage proved to be a fast learner, a prodigy of an agent with stellar marks in training, though some of her superiors noted (with some concern) her overly aggressive tendencies. She also displayed a lack of empathy in certain situations. Their concerns soon held weight. Sage was brutal when it came to seeing through a mission. Even if it meant harming innocent bystanders to stop an enemy, she would not hesitate. As long as she took down her opponent or put an end to a threat, she did not care who had to get hurt. The captain of her squad, Atmos, once requested she either be evaluated or discharged from Project Harmony. But he could never gain enough support from the Board of Directors. Sage’s uncle insisted her brutality would simmer down as she matured, that she was too good an agent (she had the highest record of arrests and successful missions within the ranks of Project Harmony’s youngest agents) to let go. Several other board members agreed with him, striking down Atmos’ motion. It proved to be a mistake. Sage quickly grew tired with what she believed to be the light-handedness of Project Harmony. They were too soft, she believed, too lenient when it came to combating forces that threatened reality and the balance between dimensions. It was an inexcusable affront. So she did something about it. She first pounced on a “mistake” by Atmos. When he did not immediately use force to arrest a group of Travelers (people who have entered into a dimension other than their own) who refused to accompany Project Harmony to a safe location, Sage immediately accused him of negligence. Though these Travelers only proved to be lost, what if they had had nefarious plans in mind? What if Atmos’ inaction had given them the opening they needed to seriously harm or kill someone? The Board of Directors agreed, and a reluctant Director White (the current leader of Project Harmony) was forced to demote Atmos. Sage took his place. Now a captain, Sage used her newfound power to sway others to her way of thinking. She gathered allies from other squads, including other captains. Even some board members came to believe as she did, in great part thanks to Sage’s charisma. It was not long before she had the votes and support necessary to stage a silent coup. Director White was removed from office, demoted just at Atmos had been, and Sage was voted in as the new Director of Project Harmony. In short, Sage’s “the ends justify the means” mantra became the coda of Project Harmony as well. MOTIVATION: As a member of Project Harmony, Sage has long heard tales of the Forge of Creation. Now that she has the manpower and support of the entire force behind her, she has decided to go in search for it. She does not seek power or riches or glory. Her goal is to wish for complete and utter harmony throughout the cosmos. Of course, it is her vision of harmony she wishes to enforce on the multi-verse. But the ends justify the means, right? OoOoOoO NAME: Gaia AGE: appears to be in her mid to late teens FRANCHISE: None (Original Character, though her appearance is modeled after the original Terra) APPEARANCE: Gaia is a living shadow, but she looks no different from any teenager girl. She is tall, with blue eyes and a pretty face, with a bob-cut of blond hair. PERSONALITY: Gaia is vicious, sadistic, and merciless. She is always lusting for battle, and for a chance to seriously maim someone. Pain amuses her, and she uses her geomancer powers to their most brutal extent when it comes to getting what she wants. HISTORY: Gaia is a loyal soldier to Drakus, and will follow his orders to the best of her ability. She will do whatever it takes to please him, even if it means sabotaging or backstabbing her so-called “allies” and fellow soldiers of Drakus. MOTIVATION: Gaia’s only motivation is to serve Drakus. And if wants the Forge of Creation, she will make sure he gets it. OoOoOoO For those of you not in the know, a kodachi is a midsized sword, between the size of a katana and a wakizashi. Now for the hero. OoOoOoO NAME: Wilbur Robinson AGE: 13 (nearly 14, by the time this story happens) FRANCHISE: Meet the Robinsons by Disney (itself loosely based on William Joyce’s A Day with Wilbur Robinson; should prove interesting, Lil, since your version of Jack Frost comes from a Joyce franchise too) APPEARANCE: Tall and slim, Wilbur sports a rather impressive cowlick in his black hair—an inherited trait from his mother’s side of the family. A fan of the old-school hero Captain Time Travel, he usually wears an official Captain Time Travel T-shirt with the lightning bolt emblem. Jeans and Converse sneakers complete the ensemble. PERSONALITY: Wilbur commands a very “in your face” personality. In that way, he is no different from the rest of his family. They are friendly, but very much a tactile type of people. Near eternally optimistic, with a flair for the melodramatic at times, Wilbur is also incredibly impulsive and more than a bit manipulative—traits that often land him in trouble. That being said, Wilbur can be a very supportive friend. Even if you give up on yourself, he won’t ever give up on you. HISTORY: *I may type up a summary in the upcoming days, but for now—if you have not seen this movie—please look up a summary to get the gist of Wilbur’s background. All I will say now is that Wilbur does remember the events of the film. I will explain HOW below* MOTIVATION: Wilbur’s story, at least initially, will revolve around the Map of Infinity. OoOoOoO And now for a long-winded explanation… Meet the Robinsons is one of my favorite Disney films. It has its rough spots, and the time travel logic makes NO sense whatsoever when you examine it too closely, but it is still a touching, heartwarming movie. I really love the theme of family (always a plus for me), of it being okay to fail, that you have to look to the future (and be optimistic) instead of dwelling on a past of what-ifs and maybes—that through your own gumption and heart, you really can make a positive difference in the world. That being said, the time travel logic is very faulty. And as I said, Wilbur remembers the events of the film. He shouldn’t, considering Lewis made a few decisions that should have made such a thing impossible. Among other things… My answer as to why he does remember is also something of a solution to the time travel problem. Here is the skinny. At some point, Lewis realized that when he both decided he would not create DOR15 (thus wiping her from existence) and when he woke up Goob at the baseball game, he opened the door to a serious paradox. When Goob woke up, he won the game for his team. Thus, he will not become Bowler Hat Guy now. And since there is no Bowler Hat Guy or a DOR15, there was no stolen time machine. No stolen time machine means Wilbur does not come back to the past. Wilbur not going to the past means Lewis does not go to the future. But if Lewis does not go to the future, he not only does not learn the lesson he needed to learn, he does not realize WHY Goob needed waking up or WHY the DOR15 was such a bad idea. And if he does not realize those things, he has no reason to decide not to create DOR15 or wake up Goob. Confused yet? Suffice it to say, Lewis realized he HAD to go to the future, and that the adventure he had MUST happen. Otherwise, something of a grandfather paradox pops up. So Lewis decided he would orchestrate a stable time loop. Perhaps he had some help from the Doctor, who realized the same thing he did. Maybe the Doctor even pointed it out to him. That part is up to you, Xipz. Either way, Lewis makes it possible that the events of the film happen. As Cornelius Robinson, he recruits Mike “Goob” Yagoobian. Goob then plays the part of Bowler Hat Guy alongside a less powerful Helping Hat who poses as DOR15. The events of the movie happen in a controlled atmosphere, and give the same results. Thus a stable time loop. It is all very, very complicated, but there you go. Lewis/Cornelius has not told anyone about this, except for the Doctor (again, only if you decide to have him involved with this, Xipz). Part of the reason is that he feels terribly guilty about putting his beloved family through the wringer “again”, even if it means protecting reality from a paradox situation. This probably will come up in the story proper at some point. And that is that. I am currently working on the first posts, which will set up everything. Again, if you guys and gal want to take up the location for one of the key items, just let me know. |

...YA KNOW WHAT F%%% IT I GOT A FEW MORE. Characters: Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo Franchise: ...Do you even need to ask? Theme Music: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2012 theme Bio: Fifteen years ago, Hamato Yoshi, otherwise known as Splinter, was walking through the streets of New York City with four pet turtles, when he happened upon members of a strange alien race known as the Kraang (though he wasn't aware of the fact at the time). After a brief fight, Splinter and the turtles found themselves exposed to a strange liquid that changed them all, resulting in the turtles becoming anthropomorphic, and Splinter being mutated into a humanoid rat. They retreated into the sewers, where Splinter raised the turtles as his sons, naming them Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo, after the famous Renaissance artists. Over the years, Splinter taught them everything they know today about the ways of ninjutsu. Now, they are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. After a trip to the surface, and a chance encounter with the Kraang, the Ninja Turtles quickly befriended a young 16-year-old girl by the name of April O'Neil, who is currently being trained by Splinter to be a kunoichi. As it turned out, the Kraang planned on using mutagen - the very same liquid that changed the Turtles, and Splinter into what they are today - to mutate all of planet Earth so it could be more habitable for the entire alien race. And April was the key to making that happen. Meanwhile, Splinter's old enemy, Oroku Saki, the Shredder, and his Foot Clan were doggedly pursuing Splinter and the Turtles so that they would be put to an end. Leonardo's the leader of the team, and the eldest of the brothers, wearing a blue mask, and wielding a pair of katanas. Though he has greatly honed his leadership skills, and has earned much trust from his brothers, he's still a young teenager. Still inexperienced, still prone to making some mistakes, and still learning new things every day. But that doesn't keep him from doing what he has to to keep his family safe, and to protect innocent people. Raphael, wearing a red mask, and wielding a pair of sai, is an impulsive hothead, preferring to take action immediately, and ask questions later. Although he and Leo are at odds sometimes, with Leo's patient approaches to situations contrasting with Raph's aggressive personality, Raph does appreciate Leo's leadership skills. He's constantly ribbing on his brothers, and often gets into fights with them, like every sibling does. He does love his family. He just prefers not to show his more tender side, as it could potentially ruin his tough guy image. Donatello, wearing a purple mask, and wielding a bo staff that can convert into a naginata, is pretty much the brains of the team. A real tech expert, he uses his scientific mind to come up with new gadgets and inventions to help the team out on missions. His technobabble can sometimes grate on his brothers' nerves, and it bugs him that they don't really understand said technobabble. He has a massive crush on April, though his feelings don't seem to be reciprocated. Michelangelo, wearing an orange mask, and using a pair of nunchuks, and a kusarigama, is the youngest of the four, and is more prone to goofing off, rather than focusing on his ninja training. And yet, despite this, he is still an impressive fighter, and is able to learn moves by only watching them a few times. Mikey isn't the brightest bulb in the tree, and his antics tend to drive his brothers crazy, especially Raph. But they still care deeply for him, and he's considered to be the heart of the team. After the Ninja Turtles put a stop to the Kraang invasion, they're currently enjoying the downtime. Though they're about to learn of the existence of the Forge, and will soon embark on an adventure to keep it away from those who would use it to put all of reality in danger. ...Except Mikey would probably use it so that he'd be able to have all the pizza he could want. |

Probably better not the involve the Doctor with your fix. His vfersion of Time Travel woudn't exactly mesh with that. In the Doctor's own words: "People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect. But actually, from a non-linear / non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly, timey wimey... stuff." I feel like I need to be more clear on Drakus's nature for this RP (Soni, you should have already gotten my PM) First off, aside from being the source of the adaptation, he's got nothing to do with the Drakus's from the other RPS I've used Drakus in. He's only ever been in his home dimension. That is to say, my world. So let me explain my world a bit to you guys. I'm gonna get a little long winded here. I apologize, but please bear with me. --------------------------------------------------------------- My world is by and large a fantasy world not unlike Lord of the Rings of Eragon, or other like them. You got your four main (read, dominant) races of Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and Dragons. That is my version of dragons which are anthropomorphic. There is magic to be had here, aligned with 6 elements. Fire, Air, Earth, Fire, Light, and Dark. Most people who practice magic can usually only performs magics aligned with one of these. Which element it is largely depends on the circumstances of the birth. The main kingdom, Stardonia, has been ruled by it's family of royal Dragons for generations. Until Xipz, that is. He did his whole creating Drakus thing and it wasn't long before the shadow dragon killed the rest of Xipz's family, imprisoned Xipz, and took over the Kingdom. As far as this RP goes, it'll jump off from a point during the period when Drakus is still in charge. Either before or after this, he created his lieutenants. Thebeus, his right hand, is the shadow of a guard captain. Deathstroke is the shadow of an assassin. Gaia would be the shadow of either someone with the potential to be or already is a particularly powerful earth sorceress. And then there Anansi. I haven't really worked out who/what he is the shadow of, but I like the idea of a giant evil shadow spider, so f*** it, he's along for the ride too. The people these shadows were taken from are kept prisoner im the dungeons and are kept just barely alive. Because if they died, so to would their shadows All of these would have been created from people who were particularly strong willed. This allowed for stronger shadows with more intelligence and personality. Other, low leveled, shadows are tasked from random people or animals. And they can be absorbed by the stronger shadows to heal or power up for an attack or what have you. Please bear in mind, that the nature of these shadows is much like it is in Odyssey. That is to say, rather that being a person's literal physical shadow, they are all of the darkness in a person given life. Their mental shadow, if you will. --------------------------------------------------------- That's all there is to know, as far as being relevant to this RP. |

Yay! I love Wilbur!! He's just so cute! <3 Okay, so here are my villains, then I have one more hero to play in this. Then that's all! I have a nasty habit of playing far too many characters. LMAO! Name:Pitch Black (Other names include: Pitch or Kozmotis Pitchiner.) Appearance: Pitch is a tall, lithe figure, and is dark in appearance. His skin is ashy gray and his spiky hair is as black as night. His eyes are a golden yellow, with traces of gray, resembling an eclipse of the Sun. He wears a long, black robe with a v-neck line, with shadows running down his arms, obscuring his body. Underneath the robe, he wears black pants and black shoes. Bio: Pitch Black is the Nightmare King, who seeks to make all good dreams into nightmares. He is cruel, vengeful, jealous and wicked at heart, feeding on the fear of others, particularly children. Pitch has various shadow powers, such as traversing great distances through shadows, etc. He can create Fearlings, which are Nightmares shaped as dark horses/mares with golden eyes. He even has his own version of the Sandman's Dream Sand, but Pitch's sand is black and induces bad dreams. He can corrupt Sandy's dream sand as well as any pleasant dream a child is having, turning those dreams themselves into nightmares. Pitch also has the ability to morph his black sand into weapons such as a scythe or a bow and arrow. But Pitch wasn't always this way. Once, long ago, before he became the Nightmare King, Kozmotis Pitchiner was a kind and heroic man, leading the Golden Armies in battle against the Fearlings and their ilk, effectively capturing all of them. He even willingly volunteered to guard them on the planet they'd been imprisoned in. He remained vigilant for years, ignoring the whispers of the prisoners. His only solace was thinking of his daughter, of whom he kept a photograph of in a locket. But one day, the Fearlings sensed his weakness and longing for his daughter, and enacted a wicked plot: they imitated her voice and hypnotized Kozmotis into thinking that she was being held captive with the Fearlings. Frantically, he opened the doors to release her. But instead, he was possessed by 10,000 Fearlings, turning him into what he is today. With his mind and heart corrupted, he began to plunder many different planets, extinguishing stars and stealing every good dream he came across, leaving only despair and fear in his wake. He hungered for the dreams of children the most; they are the most pure of heart. He even succeeded in turning many children into Fearlings. However, he had a special plan for the Lunanoff Prince, otherwise known as the Man in the Moon. He planned to make Manny into his Prince of Nightmares. In a desperate attempt to escape, the Lunanoff Family set sail to Earth. But Pitch found them, regardless. A great battle ensued, but Pitch was ultimately defeated by Manny's body-guard, Nightlight, in a huge explosion that killed Manny's parents. Pitch and Nightlight disappeared, while Manny made a home on the moon, and started watching over the children of Earth. Pitch didn't stay gone for long, and when he woke on Earth, Manny created his Guardians in an attempt to ward off Pitch's evil. However, through all of this, Pitch does have a sad side to his wicked persona. He is also a lonely person, often being rejected for being what he is. He hates when children overcome their fears of him and cease to believe in him. This is what leads to the events of the movie, with him attempting to usher in a new Dark Age, where no one believes in the Guardians anymore; just him. When he learns about the Forge, he realizes that with its power, he can destroy the Guardians and the Man in the Moon, and rule over everything with his fear. And that's exactly what he intends to do. Name: Lorelei (Other names include: The Siren.) Appearance: Lorelei takes the form of whatever she pleases, usually taking the form of a man's perfect woman. She can be anyone she wants to be. But, in her down time, she takes the form of a fair maiden with long black hair that shines in the light. Her skin is pale, lips blood red, and her eyes are the most intense shade of ocean blue. When she is on land, she is tall and curvy and luxurious to look at. In the water, her tail is a mix of blue and purple and black scales with wispy fins, like a beta fish. Bio: Lorelei is the mother of Merfolk, though not all follow her in her dark path. She loves watching the life leave a man's eyes, as she drags them down to the bottom of the sea and devours him. She is wicked and conniving and always hungry for more. She leads her mermen and mermaids onto land and commands that they woo a human being. The more lives they claim, the more powerful she becomes. With just a touch of her hand, she can put you under her spell and make you do anything, even lead your family into the ocean, where she'll claim you. She also has power over the oceans and waters around her, and can even induce tropical cyclones by putting enough moisture into the warm air. However, once, she was just an ordinary young girl. She was the most beautiful in her village, and many men sought to court her. But she fell in love with only one; a young hunter. They planned to marry. But she never truly won his heart, and caught him with another woman the day of their wedding. She killed them both; sliced their throats open with a knife, and was quickly arrested. She was to face judgment in the next town over. But as they were taking her away, they came upon her favorite spot to think; a cliff overlooking the ocean. She asked for only a moment to sit and enjoy the view, for it would be the last time she would ever see the ocean. They granted her this last request. But before they could take her any further, she jumped from the cliff and disappeared in the waters below. In death, her hatred for men and the sting of the betrayal turned her into something else. She became a Siren, sinking the ships of sailors, drowning the men and eating their flesh. And so this would go on for years. When she caught wind of a magic item called the Forge, her desire for power has compelled her to seek the Forge, in hopes of using it to expand her influence over the globe, make the existence of Mermaids a known fact, and rule over the world, raising humans as cattle. And now for my last hero: Name: Jasmine Centers (Other names include: Jazz or Jazzy, or Miss Witch.) Appearance: Long brown hair with green streaks that she usually pulls back into pig tails. She is pale and has large blue eyes, with pointed ears and rosey cheeks. She is also rather small for her age, appearing to be only about fifteen years old. Usually where a pair of faded green cargo shorts that are rolled up at her knees with a white v-necked t-shirt. She wears brown fingerless gloves, and brown hiking boots with white socks overlapping at the top. Each pointed ear had a diamond stud earring in it. She also carries a familiar, tattered old backpack which once belonged to the mother she never knew. Bio: Jasmine is the daughter of the Angel Aniue, the holy weapon. Before her Mother died, Ani passed some of her power into Jazz. Jazz was, at the time, only a few months old. She grew up knowing very little of her mother, though she always wanted to know more. Orrin, her big brother, always told her that she looked just like the woman she never met. She and Orrin grew up in tough times. Demons rose from the dark, upon Lady Syrinx's orders, and looked to bring the world to it's knees. Jazzy isn't a very strong girl, and it took her years in order to fully control her powers. She can shapeshift, using her magic, into a tiger, monkey, dolphin, wolf, and hawk. She can also materialize a broom stick in her hand, earning her the super heroine name, "Miss Witch," whenever she needs to get away. She can also shoot blasts of energy from her hands, read minds, and create force fields using the Angelic magic her Mother gave her, not to mention the hidden Angelic power she doesn't know about yet. Other than that, she isn't much of a fighter. She is more of a techy, who spends most of her time repairing gadgets and stuff. Orrin and Jasmine spent most of their time playing child super heroes, with their father, Johnny Andrews. Though she always had trouble with her powers, and for the longest time she couldn't even use them without having to play Simon Says. One day, after her 15th birthday, there was a sudden demon attack that left her home town in ruins and her brother missing in action. She's been traveling ever since, seeking the older brother than she lost. However, when she learns of a magic item called the Forge, she decides to locate it, in hopes of using it to find her brother and stop the demon attacks that threaten her world. |

Okay, so I've got a few characters to play. Potentially more, if more pop into my head. Right now, I've got two heroes and two villains. Here they are:
