Yeah, but the thing is, if the story is good I'd rather they bought for the story. Besides which, that kind of art can attract SOME folks while turning others off. Double edged sword.

Case in point, Power-Girl. I've just taken an interest in her series when Jimmy Palmiotti started writing her (which I would like to add to the list of possible TT writer's), but throughout it, the "subplot" is basically have'n her trying NOT to expose herself, and failing on most accessions. Course, we can probably guess why.

There you go. Prime example. A lot of folks love the Power Girl book. But some don't because of the cheesecakey art, despite the quality. That sort of thing is fine in moderation - in regards to Power Girl it's kind of a different story since it's part of the tone - but too much can start turning folks off.

Fanservice is all well and good in some moments. You certainly couldn't complain with all the shower scenes in Bruce and Paul's Harley/Ivy miniseries. But some books don't fit that realm. I'd say Teen Titans is one off the books that needs to keep the sexuality low-key. And the moments when it isn't low key should be few and far between. I like it, as much as the next hot-blooded guy, but I don't want it to be the main appeal, more of a pleasant and rare surprise. This book shouldn't be Grimm Fairy Tales.

Besides, with the current female cast, there aren't many candidates I'd care to see in such a manner. Aside from Raven and M'gann I don't see any sexual appeal toward the other three. But that's just me...

Also, when did Roulette get a leopard hand?

True, Raven shown some skin would get my blood boilin, especially if they did her with the AS gray skin (something about chicks "of a different color" just turns me on). But then again, she's all about the modesty, and that's a rarity. Besides, we'd be back with the same issue with her and wearin a thong and a skin-tight tank-top in the first Titans issue.

I pretty sure that's just a glove. Not much point in just splicing only your left arm and not both arms. Or, hell, just her whole self.

I'm glad they left the gray skin to the show; honestly, if it popped up in the comics I would have cried foul.

Well we do get a small handful of nice moments with Raven. Like her last resurrection or that glimpse of her tattoo that has since dissappeared. Frankly I'd preffer her as her really pale OYL self, but thats me.

It wouldn't make sense if it was intentional, but if it were accidental splicing like she was trying to make some girl into a leopard hybrid and got stabbed with the serum instead. If it is a glove, it's a good one to leave all the dlaw marks on that guy lol

It kinda is lately. If you notice the depth in color tone they have her in the last few issues.

Bastards. Neglect to show her individuality. :annoyed:

I suppose. She did say she was seeking revenge on PowerGirl, maybe her arm's a reason.

I swear, if they try to use this storyline to make her skin gray, somebody's getting punched.

Nah, I wouldn't worry about it. With the current artist and his new stream of editors he have now, they've managed to put her skin back to normal.

Well probbaly they should retain Raven's curves like the Geoff Johns era, I think the one during The Insider with Super Boy damn, she looked hot though she had short hair, it'd be nice if it was longer.

Guys, (to quote DL on a Judd Winick subject) would it bad - I mean, downright terrible if I suggest Joe Benitez as a returning artist. I know he did a bad job on Gar, but really like the sleekness in his style.
