It was by accident when I was lookin up John's run on the Brightest Day line, when I noticed the preview snaked it's way into one of them. I thought I just drop something in to past the time. |

Man, The one I'm most worried about is Static. The rest will be done with Hendersen soon enough, but he will still be sway to her pen after this is all done. You'd think almost a year on a book would be enough to cut your teeth on the industry, but her dialouge has shown very little improvement and things still seem to have severe pacing issues. Oh well, for anyone who is interested, I'll be down at the store to pick up Secret Avengers #3. While there I'll flip through this and come back witha run down if no one beats me to it. |

In some sick way I love the fact that Teen Titans is so terrible right now that we're going to resort to discussing a superior team book from DC's competition so that there's some kind of interesting discussion going on. Hello rock bottom, my name is DL.
Ahh. The previews I've read thus far make Brightest Day related books seem like a good read. I may just check many of them out in trade once the inevitable softcovers hit. Far as I'm concerned, Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne #4 is the most important book of today. |

Ok, I read this issue at the comic store and before I start the run down let me say that I was surprised. The issue was still far from anything I'd consider buying, but it was infact leaps and bounds better than what we've seen from her so far. Her pacing still sufferes as the action and peacful mometns don't balance and blend well, and her dialouge is still strained were every carachter basically talks the same as everyone else in the book (frankly the only character who seems to have their own distinct voice is Bombshell) Anyway, picking up from where the preview left off... I, unfortunately, still found it boring. Hopefully things start picking up next issue. Didn't think anything was relevant enough to share, but here's one scan of Gar falling down the volacana/mountain.

..........yeah, no. Mind as well just go shoeless, boots that match the skin instead of the uniform would be up there on the "ridiculous costume list." Think the new artist in JT's run will determine Gar's outlook once in for all??? |

Oh, I know, which is why I put the tongue out smiley. Though barefoot is still horrifyingly ridiculous; I'm not sure which is worse. The left foots too long too, if you take a look at it. |

maybe he was just about to turn into a duck and fly away... and the transformation started with his feet... |

His feet don't look like duck feet though. Besides, that's really stretching it. XP |

Perhaps the artist intended Gar to be wearing boots, but the colorist was still used to the old way of things and made 'em green. |

Guys I think its just a coloring error. Those things happen. Its obvious it was meant to be his boots--besides the lack of toes, the soles of his feet are flat. Of course one way to determine it is to look at any other panel in the comic and see what he's wearing. That'll mean this was either a coloring error or an artist error. |

Checking the other panels, seems to be an artist error. |

Unsurprising, since the art on Teen Titans has sucked ass since midway through Sean McKeevers run. All this is part of why it's great Nicola Scott is coming aboard; sadly, we've got about two more months of this and one more month after that till that run officially starts. |
