Well... ****.

Place your bets guys, the badass mercenary or the kid with the power of Black Adam?

With what Dl explained to me about Black Adams powers, evben a fraction of that crap, which is what Osiris has, would be enough to kill a good chunk of super powered people.

So the battel of the century is between two b-list characters? Well, guess we don't have to read Brightest Day...

It's solicit text; that's just how this stuff reads.

Also, the opening story of Titans is a Brightest Day tie-in because of Osiris, who was revived at the end of Blackest Night. The Brightest Day series proper deals with other things spinning out of Blackest Night. It's looking like it will be a lot more like 52; dealing with B to C list characters as far as it's running plots instead of A list heroes.

eh, I'll read Brightest Day when they figure out a way to bring back Vic Sage. (which I know isn't going to happen because DC is getting so much attention and praise for his replacement)

His return is almost inevitable. He's the iconic Question, so unless Renee has a dynamite story that cements her in the public concious she's merely the Question for now. Greg Rucka's also moved on from DC for the time being and since he's handled her journey from Gotham Central on she's probably going to drop into limbo for a good while.

I don't know about that. GLAAD (Gay/Lesbian Association Against Defamation) Recently gave an Award for the recent run of Detective Comics for their fair representation of lesbians in comics. If she doesn't stay as the Question, I don't see Renee doing much more than being a member of Gotham PD again. And I don't think DC will let one of their most progressivly praised characters go like that.

You underestimate the power of the iconic character. Renee is known best for being Renee Montoya, not the Question. In the end, that's going to win out. For the time being, she has her story as the Question. But it will end someday and Vic will be the Question once more. Of this I have little doubt.

Unless, of course, she has a dynamite, blockbuster solo story that breaks ground and puts her on the map, which she has not so far.

As an aside, it's been the Batwoman feature that's been most of the target of all the praise, not the Question backup. In fact, I've seen fans of the character even say, Cully Hammer art aside, that it was rather run of the mill.

Well I hope you're right, but only time will tell.

Back to this book (sorry I always get us off on tangents) They mentioned that the whole Villians for Hire arc was just a transitionary phase, I wonder if this title will ever be in one definate direction again, and what it will be about when that happens. The return of Bruce is sure to affect the current status quo of the JLA, and everything in the Teen Titans book is still up in the air. I really hope they didn't break up the team just to pull them back together. It would kinda make this whole title pointless from number one.
