You know, she's my favorite Titan, yet I hardly read anything with her in it. |

Perhaps you should look into getting this comic when it releases then. It's a Starfire appearance outside of the Titans, after all; and honestly, it's a good thing that she's been having more presence in the DCU in general. As a side bonus, you'll be getting an issue of the best series no one is reading; and frankly, it could always use that kind of support. If R.E.B.E.L.S. had been a Marvel series it would have been canceled at issue #5... |

I think I will. Need to browse through the DC previews anyway; I forgot about them. Cause, you know, I've been meaning to start keeping up with things without resorting to jabbing you in the ear every time something new comes up that I coud probably easily find out for myself.

Seriously, perhaps it would be good if you guys gave the series a shot. The first trade of the series "The Coming of Starro", just released this Wednesday. I'm jumping on board the trade bandwagon as soon as I have a bit of extra cash - since I'm not really a monthly guy - because of the good things I hear about it. This may be a good jumping on point if one would want to get on board the monthly, since it seems to follow the conclusion of the first major arc of the series (namely the fight against Starro the Conqueror).
The sad part is that's not even an exaggeration. I don't even want to think of the number of DC series that would not have gotten to where they are if they had been Marvel series. simply because of Marvels moronic "let's end it at issue five" bull. Off the top of my head, theres: Blue Beetle Checkmate Jonah Hex R.E.B.E.L.S. Manhunter Catwoman Simon Dark Shadowpact These are books just from the last several years. |
