I agree that Roy probably should have been enough, but I guess they were shooting for the tri-fecta here; the man who is all but his son is mutilated, his city is wiped out and now he's lost his grand daughter.

There's been a lot of furor over Cry for Justice. James Robinson responded to it a while ago (the whole series was in the can by then) than he promised to be nicer in the Justice League book proper. Still doesn't wipe away what was done in Cry, but I dunno. When it's all said and done, I just don't get why no one thought killing off a seven or eight year old kid in a comic was going too far.

On Teen Titans, I'd honestly rather have a stream of crap for a while then have the characters in limbo. It's not a safe place for any character.

Oh, I forgot he was writting JLA now... Well, that sort of kicked my excitment closer to the curb. But we'll just have to wait and see. It's about all we can do.

I have no idea who OKed that shot, but I would like to. Maybe it was an editor. But Robinson did write it first. Ah, what a bunch of crap. XP

If a short limbo was a regular thing, not long I'm saying but maybe a month, like just skip a title, then it wouldn't be so bad. Then again, as I said before, I'm still rather ignorant the the comic buisness.

Cry for Justice was such a mess of revisions and changes that I don't think anyone will ever really know who's idea it was.

You know, I don't like it, but I actually had suspected that Lian was going to die. Once I heard that they were priming Roy to become a villian I knew that they would have to get rid of Lian because as long as she was around, Roy could never go bad.
