Well, you're right. No real TT plans got announced or even alluded to at the convention, despite several attempts to pump people for information. For the most part, the attention was all on the bigger fish, which these days are Brightest Day, Green Lantern, Batman, Superman, and related. About the best news was Johns and Didio's comments about how TT was important to them, and the desire to make it big again. So if there's an avenue of hope, that's a big one.

However, I suspect it won't take until SDCC 2010 in July for us to catch a glimpse of what's going to happen to them. The solicits, at the very least, will be a good indication.

I just hope that when he gets a free spot in the future Geoff Johns takes up the title again; he's said he wants to work with the Titans again and honestly, the team probably needs him at this point. I can't really think of anyone else for the job right now; which I suspect is the case with DC as well, considering they took a gamble and put an unproven rookie on the title.

Also, speaking of Joe Bennet, I hope we get a new artist in the future, because I really don't think he's all that good.

I note that, at ever panel lately that Johns has been on, at least one person has asked him to return to Teen Titans. That's got to be something DC has noticed.

The Joe Bennett interview was his departure interview. He's moving over to Justice League: Generation Lost. And yeah, I haven't been overly wow'ed by his art either.

That's good. His art was kind of a turnoff for me. Just his expressions... meh. Also, his art occasionally gave off this weird 90's vibe.

Not saying he was terrible or anything, but he wavered anywhere from decent to bad and I never felt like he was all that hot an artist.

Though, now I'm kind of concerned for JLI, but I'm less interested in that than I am Brightest Day, so I'm not too concerned.

Plicky could do it. He's got a lot of ideas. Good ones.

That's cool. I wonder if I could ever get around to having a serious conversation with him sometime. I'd love to hear his ideas and views.

And, hey, I said that as a "now" thing. Who knows what the future has in store.
