What do you mean? BB's leader doubts and how he got kicked around? A little but it's not on the same level.

I meant in the fact on how BB keeps beating himself and Raven tries to comfort him, in this and in 52 where he questions his ability to lead like Vic or Dick.

Later on, there's another sequence towards the end that I'm wondering if it might be a clue as to what is going on with Raven (and by extension, Gar):

Also worth posting: Cyborg brooding over the way he cut off Gar last issue.

Vic stands in for Batman as the Justice League's brooder!

Good work Vic, I think you'll be able to hold down the fort in this regard until Bruce gets back.

Or perhaps somethings going on with Miss Martian as well. That was my first thought. Was that whole "future evil self residing in her head" thing ever resolved? I don't recall hearing about Sean McKeever wrapping that plot point up.

Which may take awhile, Bruce is gonna be busy killing giant bats and punching pirates in the face.

Actually, reading the sequence again, I think its implied that Holocaust was somehow able to deflect MM's attack onto Raven. I don't know anything about Holocaust's powers, so I don't know if he can do that.

On the other hand, MM has been complaining about headaches and feeling odd for a few issues now.

You know, this issue would probably have come off a lot better if it had gone through one more re-write before being sent to the artist. The story isn't bad; its just that the dialogue is just a little too bland and cliche'd.

You've got to wonder how it would have fared with a better editor to help with the dialogue. Felicia's still a rookie in comics. Something Plicky and I have mentioned a lot.

I've got to be honest; I don't know spit about any characters that came from Milestone outside of Static himself. I know the line has it's fans, but aside from it pretty much being a superhero universe only populated by mostly non-white Superheroes I don't know a lot about it. Close to zip, really.

Part of why I'm wondering if evil future Miss Martian is screwing with her head again.

With aliens you can never tell, Martians doubly so considering all tyhe psychic crap running around their brains. It has got to get crowded in there what with their ability to read thoughts and what not. I assume people like J'ohn have expierience in blocking it out and controlling it, but teenagers, probably not so much.

And with Meggan's history/future self it's probably even worse for her.
