I thought the same thing, once upon a time, but I've slowly warmed to the idea. After all, it works for the Flash. Jay Garrick has been active as the elder Flash of the family and working with the Justice Society for about as long as Wally has been The Flash. Barry's back now too. We have Roy as Red Arrow while his father figure is still Green Arrow. I think it would work out nicely. And imagine the criminals reactions. One Batman is bad enough, but TWO? Yeah, it's time to go bother another city.
The way I'm imagining is something like the Flash family. The Batman titles proper would be held down by the top Batman, or Bruce Wayne, obviously. Meanwhile, Dick Grayson could be the Batman of the Justice League and get his time to shine there. Like I said, it works out pretty good for the Flashes, so I don't see why more than one Batman would be all that far out there.
Same. Though I kinda like Batman/Zatanna. Also, Batman/Talia has always held a place for me. Batman be pimpin'. |

The the flash family is a different story. They have their own legacy. They can have as many Impulses, Kid Flashes, and Flashes as they want. I always thought the Batman family should have one Batman, one Robin/sidekick (Nightwing was not really his sidekick anymore), and one Barbs (lol). But I guess you're right. Having two of them will do no harm at all. And the idea of them being in Gotham City at the same time will make the criminals **** bricks! Oh, and that reminds me... the argument between Terry and Dick in this After Hours parody is just simply hilarious! Terry is such a dick. ![]() |

In the hubbub over the unbelievably sub-par issue of Teen Titans, I almost forgot this released last week too. The key thing I've heard is that after being given a pep talk by Wonder Woman, Donna Troy is the one that steps forward to get the League reformed. |

Oh yeah? That's really cool. Odd, in a way, but cool. It's sounded like Donna's needed a little bit of direction, having all those different orgins floating around in her head and whatnot. Unless that was implied in that A Day in the Life issue of Titans that focused on Donna. |

From what I heard, what was really getting to her - and putting her in a bad mood - was her having to rebury her son. Diana apparently gave her a pep talk and Donna decided to take charge of reforming the League. To be honest? I think she makes the most sense. Dick would be too busy with Gotham to think about something like reforming the League, as he's not quite as versatile as his mentor. Mon-El has no experience with teams. It kind of makes sense to me that Donna would be the one to step up. |

That would understandably make her irritable. Leave it to Diana to pep talk someone out of that mess. She does make the most sense, out of the three available right now. In a way it sort of explains why Vic and Kory are offered membership to the League. I hope they do a good job; I've wanted to see more with Donna anyway. |

Well, I'm not seeing a lot of negative comments. Some of the folks I've seen talk about it seemed satisfied with this issue and are looking forward to more. The biggest complaint I've seen is that quite a few felt Mark Bagley drew Donna's boobs too large and the costume a bit off for... accommodating that; considering the train wreck the title's been for a while, one real flaw folks are consistent about isn't bad. So I suppose it looks like Robinson and Bagley might well do a good job. Here's hoping; we won't know until we get a few more issues into the run. |

I for one love Mark Bagley's art. I did notice Donna's outfit seemed off for her, though. But it happens, you know? Different artists and all. I'm really excited for this. I think I've said it before, but whatever. I haven't heard much good about the previous run of JLA, though I don't know any of the specifics as to why it was bad. I know I keep going on and on about "I need to read more about this person, or that person, or I gotta catch up somehow" cause I do. Just haven't gotten around to doing it yet... But I'm excited to read more about a few of the Titans in a different setting. Mostly Kory and Donna since they were my favs. And I hope that mess made sense; I'm kinda tired. |
