Written by Mike Johnson, Art by Angel Unzueta & Wayne Faucher, Cover by Angel Unzueta

Spotlight on Donna Troy! What happens when a young twenty-something woman feels like she grew up too fast and deprived herself of a twenty-something kind of life? As Donna ponders this, the Fearsome Five continue their Titans revenge streak. They picked the wrong time to do it...

DC Universe | 32 pg | Color | $2.99 US

On sale December 9

***************

I stand corrected. Look like we've got one more Day in the Life issue while the Blackest Night crossover is going on. But I suspect January will be the start of the new directions of both Titans titles and the Justice League. New year, fresh slate.

This kinda brings up on what Gar said about Donna borrowing Kory's clothes again, doesn't it.

Quite a bit of this arc has been connected in some ways, I've noticed. Quite a few elements have crossed over. Say what you want about the writers they got for each one, but you can't argue that they don't have a plan of some sort.

Well, we've seen some of the results of those plans, so I'm not arguing. Though it should be interesting to see Donna have a little fun before she heads up to take her sister's place in the JLA, so I'm lookin forward to see this one.

Agreed. I don't really recall her ever letting loose. It should be interesting if nothing else.

So, think this is the last Day in the Life/Spotlight issue? The only one who's really left is Wally. Which would be kind of pointless, really.

I kinda used Raven's cover as a checklist for the Day in the Life issues, seein that everyone's on there. The only one that's not getting a spotlight would be Dick, since he's been running around in "Bruce's pajamas" long before any of this divide and conquer stuff happened. So I'm beatin that Wally gets one, pointless or not. I am kinda wondering what happens to him, I don't see him anywhere with JLA or any of the Titans.

The only reason I'm not entirely sure about the whole thing is the entire Flash deal right now in general. Wally is the only one other than Dick who appears elsewhere regularly. He's also got a lot of non-Titans upheaval right now. With most of his story taking place in the Flash stuff, I'm finding myself not entirely sure.

Maybe I'm wrong here. It does feel like the book is killing time until Eric Wallace takes over. So I wouldn't put it past them to do one for Wally. I'm just not sure what it could focus on. He doesn't really have much going on with the Titans; most of his Flash problems are Barry Allen related.

I think Wally will get one. You can't forget that comic story arcs are desinged and plotted to fit in the Graphic novel volumes. Those usually comprise of 7 or 8 issuses. So far we've have proof of 7 day in the life issues, and frankly I wouldn't be surprised if the Tempest book get included in a Blackest Night collection instead, as unlike the others his story didn't tie in at all with the other's stories.

Besides, if any of the characters need some explanation of were he going afterward, it's Wally. I mean, he's been sandwiched. He can't be Flash because Barry's back. Can't be Kid Flash with Bart around.

Also he's the only one left. It would almost seem intentional to leave him out, esspecially when Tempest got a story and he wasn't even officially on the team.

Yeah, but most of Wally's story is currently being told elsewhere (Flash Rebirth and Blackest Night: Flash). It has been for a while now. There really isn't much room for a story for him. I mean, even Tempests issue kind of needed to happen; unlike Wally, his story has had nowhere to play out.

I'm just honestly struggling to figure out what could possibly be used for Wally in a twenty two page comic when we already know what's going to happen to him and that story is already playing out (all this seems to take place pre-Blackest Night and pre-Flash Rebirth).

Finally checked out this issue. It was alright. Nothing really noteworthy other than an attack on Donna by the Fearsome Five.

That and Donna cosplaying as Sarah Palin.

And I hated the art.

Yes, apparently Donna's spine can contort to positions hereto unknown.

Yeah, the art apparently wasn't done by Angel. I don't recall the name of the person who ended up doing it, but from what I hear it was pretty terrible all around. Sad.

This book's been treading water for the longest time; thankfully JT Krul comes on board next month to wrap it up with a two parter.
