Having calmed myself, I think there might not be anything to worry about. Remember, it's a cover and solicit. Plus we may still be on the "day in the life" stuff. This could be one for Roy, where he contemplates whether he's going to live or not through these zombies running around and spends time with his daughter. Remember, the solicit and cover for the Tempest issue suggested he'd be fighting the Titans. Nothing of the sort even remotely happened. The regular crew weren't even in the issue. |

Trust me Z, I really hope so too. I really like Roy. He's a great character whom has weathered through a lot of mistakes and flaws in him. I'd hate to see him go in the midst of this crossover. |

Well he is a recovering addict and single parent, in a lot of ways I think a lot of folks can sorta relate o his position. I hope Roy is okay too. I'd hate to think of his daughter losing her superhero daddy to the Titans Curse. |

If it's not the BL, it's probably him think whether to stay with the Titans or head back to the JLA. It's Lian I'm worried about. Leavin her for whatever reason, Black Lantern curse or any Titan dilemma, can't end good for her. |

If Roy were to somehow go MIA in some fashion, I like to think that Chesire would try and take some semblance of responsibility in his stead. As I recall, she loves her daughter; enough that she was aware that it would be best that she were left with Roy to be raised better than she could. For some reason, I can't see Chesire letting her kid go off to foster care. |

I'm positive that Roy will be fine. I'm sure this is another day-in-the-life story because they aren't going to squeeze in a small story arch before the new writer comes in. Also everything about the solicit and the cover just has the same feel as all the other done in ones... That said... This has got to be one of the saddest comic covers I've ever seen... I know that Lian is pretty tough, but this is just sad. All the broken arrows and the shattered picture frame. It even looks like her knees are buckeling, like she's about to fall to the floor crying... ... ...ok, I'm better now... no I'm not

This really should have been labeled as a "Cry for Justice" tie-in. Nothing of consequence happened in the issue, which released a couple weeks ago. As expected really. But the bad thing this seemed to foreshadow? Roy had one of his arms severed in Justice League: Cry for Justice #5. Supergirl cauterized the wound, so he's not going to die of blood loss, but he was jacked all the same. This explains rather handily why Roy would be on a hospital bed in the cover of Titans #21. |

Yeah what a load, Cry for Justice sucks ass. Although this does mean the potential for a sweet cybernetic arm for Roy. GO ROY! |

From what I hear, it's gotten much, much better as it's gone along. James Robinson wrote it over a year ago, when he was still shaking some of the cobwebs from his time away from comics. But the first three or so issues blew, yeah.
I was thinking the same thing. Or hell, he could have a new arm cloned for him. This is the DCU after all; that ought to be childs play. If he's being taken off the board for some reason, perhaps he'll be a supporting character for the League or something and spend more time raising Lian. |

Does that mean we get more cute scenes of him and his kid? |

Man, I hope so. Those were my favorite parts of what I've read of Devin Graysons run on Titans. |
