Yeah, I decided to skip trades on this. One exception would be if they were to collect all or most of the day-in-the-life issues into a single TPB, that one would be worth it so far... even with the Raven one in there, if only for those last few pages. Otherwise, I'd buy #5, #6, #14, #16, and #17 so far, based on quality. Those have been the best out of this series. ... and that 8 issue gap between the date issues and these day-in-the-life set just shows how pitiful the whole thing has been. Those 8 issues were the Jericho storyline. Ugh. |

Oh, I'm sure that's the intention. The third and final pre-revamp trade is probably going to be the Day in the Life issues collected in full. But again, I'm skipping it. I'm just going to get the Vic issue. Also, you can bet your bottom dollar I'm skipping Lockdown. Not sure about Deathtrap yet though. I am looking to catch up with the Teen Titans, and they did play something of a role there. I suppose it depends largely on what happened with the team in there, despite the fact that I really do not care to deal with any of the Jericho plot. Truthfully, I think I'm going to just ignore most of this in the map when I update it. Add the "breakup", a small synopsis of events between, the last few of #18 and then go to Teen Titans. I think I'm going to end up keeping Blackest Night out of it as well, aside from perhaps a brief mention of it as events that have happened. Nothing with the two has happened during it, so I guess I don't really need to worry about placement of it as much as I have been. I'm thinking I'm going to update the map right after Teen Titans #76 releases to bring everything completely up to date. |

I agree that we should wait until after Blackest Night concludes, since the time line of all of this is a bit weird. And, who knows, Raven might came into the picture during the issues of Titans that occurs during BN to make up for her lack of appearance in BN:T. Though she still has a small chance of showing up somewhere in BN:T#3. Personally I think you should include everything. For one, painful as it is, I like the honesty of it, shows that we're not just mindless shippers; we are willing to acknowledge the good with the bad. Second, it looks like its going our way regardless. We'll know with better certainty in TT#76, but I think we're gonna be okay come January. Thus, I see no reason to ignore it all; let it stand as a testament to the strength of the ship and editorial's seeming willingness to keep it going. Its survived more than I thought it would after the OYL, so why not? Plus its good to stand as a reminder of what one poor writer or bad editorship can cause. Its not like the writers come here to use the map as their own guide, anyway, so I doubt we'd be inspiring any of them to screw **** up by recording some of the worst moments in all of this. I don't believe in jinxing things, either, so acknowledging it and not sweeping it under the rug won't change the fabric of reality against our favor. Funny as it would be to think a writer were keeping track of the characters' relationship thanks to that map. I always wondered if any of them used Titans Tower to search or some obscure information to use. |

I'm actually not thinking of leaving stuff out because I want to just ignore it. I'm thinking of leaving most of the stuff that's happened in between out largely because most of it isn't really between the two. You know what I mean; the offhand "she hurt me" and such that happened mostly during Deathtrap, which is really worthless to include. Unless you mean the Beast Boy issue, which I just realized I forgot to list in there. |
