The new ongoing writer is the lady that wrote stuff in... Family Matters and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air? Don't get me wrong, those were some funny shows, but... how does this make sense?

WHOA! The hell just happened? Are we back in the 90's again? Has the dak age reared its ugly head once more? Seriously what is up with this cover? It looks incredibly old, 1991 old. Look at that colouring! Its hurts my eyes! And Cassie's face is practically protruding outwards. Look at that neckline!

Oh great, Rose is near death, perfect.

***** it all, I give up. DC has screwed over a great character for no other reason then to cause angst. Ten bucks Cassies takes a dump on her grave and gets Connor to pee on it. Life is so ******* unfair.

Calm down man. It's the second installment of her own running feature in the book. She's not going to die and we all know it. Plus she can't win all the time.

I know she can't win, if she won all the time she would've gotten out of Terror Titans in one issue, Blue Beetle wouldn't have needed to save her from Lobo if she always won.

(Sighs Heavily)

Alright, maybe I'm over reacting... okay I am.

I'm just still a little ticked that Ravager is still getting treated poorly by her team mates. Its not without reason but its still sad. She won't die, of course she won't, especially if theres a co-feature involved thats she's only just started, I just... I just wish she'd get better.

Its like watching a beloved family member dig herself deeper and deeper into a hole. If any character in DC needs psychological therapy its Rose and it sounds like its only going to get worse before she gets better, if ever.

This of no fault of the writers, they want to do some kind of redemption story from the sound of it, or hero rising from the ashes, but I can tell what its going to take to get there.

It going to be painful to watch... but I suppose the inevitable final victory will be all the sweeter.

I'm sorry guys, sometimes I just go overboard. I apologize. It was wrong of me to go all "Nerd Rage!!!" on yas.

Still... the cover looks like its from the 90's.

I'm actively concerned about this books future now. I just checked the latest sales numbers for May. Teen Titans lost over five thousand readers. Considering the writer coming in is a complete unknown and we have fill ins until then, I'm starting to wonder just how much longer this series is going to last.

Hmm, I don't understand that. I mean sure the whole Jericho story arc dragged down a lot of the Titan books, but it wasn't that bad. Then again a lot of people have been dissapointed with the influx quality of all the Titan books.

Maybe this new writer will fix that. Not sure though.

It might just be general dissatisfaction with the way things have been going. Ever since Geoff Johns left, the team has had shakeup after shakeup to the point where there isn't even much of a real team to speak of. The roster seems to change every four months, after all.

Also, Sean McKeever has left; say what you want about some of his stories, he generally kept the book afloat saleswise. Most didn't like the crossover in general, for that matter; only eighteen thousand even bothered to pick up Vigilante, which was the climax issue of the crossover. Fill in's are the order of the day for the next few months and the new ongoing writer is a complete unknown to comic writing.

I'm quite worried all this is going to end up burying the book.

Yeah, we have had way too many roster changes of late. The team just isn't very stable anymore. I guess thats another problem that people have been having.

However considering DC's desire to keep the interest of the Titans high, what with them being in Blackest Night and all, I don't think we'll need to worry too much about this book being buried. DC will find a way to re-energize it... hopefully.

Eh, that's a different book. Titans is doing aright, actually. It shed about a thousand readers with the end of Deathtrap; not bad for a crossover ending. This is not mentioning that quite a few Titans fans seem pumped for the Blackest Night mini.

The Teen Titans, on the other hand, don't seem involved in Blackest Night at all. All that and their book seems to be in turmoil. This might not end well. At all.

With all the line up changes after the Infinite Crisis incident, I feel it's like Wondergirl and friends instead of Teen titans, cause it lacks that team chemistry and as always rotation between young heroes, this hero goes in, that heroes goes out, meh. :annoyed:

I could not agree more with that statement. The book more or less is about Wonder Girl. And it's a real shame, because some of the other characters really have some good plots to explore. Then again, some of them really don't. I mean, Bombshell? And I'm not too excited about Aqua Girl or Kid Eternity either. And if They add Conner to the roster...

Oh well, I guess it the title ends I won't be too upset. The only characters that are still involved in it that I care at all for are M'gann and Eddie. Won't miss the rest much...

Just to clarify, I think that if the title does end we won't go long without a Teen Titans book. It's been a relatively solid seller for DC for most of it's life; they'd probably want to try again real quick.

My guess is a revamp/relaunch. There are a couple ways they could play that. One way is making it similar to to the lineup in Geoffs run, as in mostly Young Justice alumni. This one is less likely. The YJ crew are all alive again, but a reunion of the brood isn't something that would be easy to pull off. Tim is now Red Robin, Superboy has a solo again and Bart hasn't even been seen outside his Flash appearances.

The other is trying to piece together what worked with this solo in it's twilight days with new stuff. There's a new Robin in Damian, for instance, which could make for interesting dynamics. Blue Beetle, Red Devil, Miss Martian and Ravager are popular newer Titans. There are a lot of choices to work with.

Or things could improve for this book and it will survive.

No matter what happens, the revolving cast needs to stop. That needed to go a long time ago. People are never going to get attached to the team if members come and go at any given moment.

Well The Teen Titans with Damian in it will surely be the thing that will rejuvenate the team back to where they are, and also kick out the whole rotation thing, it doesn't bode well esp when there's no Core Members for e.g. The Old Guard, at least when Geoff kickstarted Vol 3 of TT it had the good mix of the Old Guard aka the NTT line Up and the YJ line up, cause it kinda balance and right now the comic really needs that Balance and Stability.
