Oh great, someone dies.

Thats something to look forward to huh?

I have a bad feeling with how Ravager is being dumped on she's going to be taking a beating. Poor Rose, can't she get a damn break.

Is anyone keeping taps on the death count, cause I lost count after Duela Dent.

After seeing her layin a hurt on Cassie on the O&O preview, I'd say it's the other way around.

Actually, that scene looks like it happened in 71 that was released now. I saw a scan of it on Daily Scans, looks kinda like that scene... I also saw a bunch of Rose Wilson haters, blech.

Anyway, I'm not sure Ravager is gonna kill Cassie, she's already run off by this point to some arctic base remember. It says so in the solicits.

Unless... (Shock) Cassie is the one who sent someone to kill her!

NAAAAAAAAH!

Cassie's a bitch, but she's not that bad.

Ok. If the "omens" are supposed to kick in this soon, then I'm guessing that it's Eddie inside that coffin... Really hope not. However, since his depowering they really haven't done much with him. If it weren't for Miss Martian being back, Eddie wouldn't have had any significant moments recently.

Prediction: If they do infact kill off Eddie, then that pregnant girl in the omen is M'gann and she's carrying his child...

However, I really hope I'm wrong on this prediction.

Eddie's probably safe. I doubt very highly that they'd just drop the subplot with him and Neron. If I remember right Neron even saved him from death once; didn't want to lose his pawn. He's probably safe for now.

This coffin cover might not even signify a death anyways. Blackest Night will be in full swing by the time this issue hits. There's a good chance this issue will be a tie in to said event. The team's certainly gone through enough members for it to possible.

Hmm, this could even mean that someone is faking their death just to get somewhere in the story line.

...

If only they would just make a comic that could please everybody. Not the death of Ravager, but someone who needs a good whack in the noggin.

Eddie..... T____T I am so heartbroken over this.

Essh. That thing with Kid Eternity was creepy. >_>;;; Something about eyes being forced open turns my stomach. Kid Eternity's interesting in theory, but I guess as a character... Having someone around to summon your dead teammates kinda lessens the impact of their death, especially on a team like the Titans where... well, look at the cover: "ANOTHER TITAN DIES!" They're not even pretending on that one anymore. :|

Ah, killing titans is DC's version of spring cleaning

DC pitchman: "Hey Boss, I've got some great news. The teams have been working really hard and we've got alot of great new characters to introduce that the readers are going to love"

DC exec: "Excellent work! Now go kill off a few titans to make room, we only have so many books and we don't want the universe to get muddled"

Pitchman: "Yes sir. Uh, how many should we kill?"

Exec: "Why, however many you need to. This isn't deer hunting or anything. It's not like there's a limit..."

:alternate last line:

Exec: "How many?" (wicked grimace, with face in partial shadow) "ALL OF THEM! MUUWWAAAHAHHA!!!"

It's possible. Remember that this was first telegraphed in the Teen Titans "Origins and Omens" segment. So it seems like it had been planned months and months before.

If that's the case though, I have to admit I find it... kind of stupid. The Teen Titans have plenty of corpses to rise from the grave. There wasn't really a need for another one.

Unfortunately, the writing may well have been on the wall when Eddie lost his powers and the deal with Neron was negated. To be honest, I doubt very highly this was the way Eddie's story was supposed to end. I had figured the deal with Neron would have been stopped when something like Eddie being forced to team up with and reconcile with Blue Devil happened.

I just hope there's more to it thn just "Eddie is gone, move on"

like maybe, he goes to hell after dying and somehow gets a similar deal made. Maybe he runs into Neeron and he reactivates Eddies meta-gene in return for help in reclaiming hell...

or anything really... I just want Eddie back...
