The planned Spider-Man musical, featuring music and lyrics by U2’s Bono and the Edge, will make its Broadway debut in February 2010. Previews of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark start January 16th, with the musical’s official starting date February 18th at the Hilton Theatre. Julie Taymor, director of film musical Across the Universe, is set to direct.

......kinda makes you wonder if Batman's up next for this type of thing. Oh, wait, to late. XP

Well, at least Kenny Ortega's not the director.

I heard about this awhile ago. I know I saw some kind of footage about it, I forget exactly what it had.

(Youtube check)

Oh sorry, that was some rock n' roll show at Universal. However there was one superhero musical I know existed.

I'm... frightened.

I agree. It is truly terrifying. And yet...some how extremely amusing. XDD

Eh, I've seen worse things from a hero franchise. The only thing that would make this truly terrifying would be if they did peter parker's high school life into.....well...a high school musical.

Ideas been picked, LM. If they did get that idea, I'm sure Disney will sue they're asses, even if its under false accusations on copy rights. Besides, this is done by Bono. With that in mind, I'm getting that terrifying yet somehow extremely amused feeling lil's taken about.
