This is premiering at Sundance... I don't get it. Has admission been that poor?

I mean, the concept is awesome... but this is Sundance not some "independent horror film makers festival".

That's actually just the US release. I premiered in Norway sometime last year. And it's actually a Horror/Comedy. Like Shawn of the Dead.

Unfortunately, I doubt it will be anywhere near as awesome.

Sundance, like many gatherings of it's ilk, supports independent filmmakers of any kind. It might be nice to have something like this, it'll confuse the pompous jerkwads that go to these type of things to up their artsy indie cred.

I dunno, it might be as good as Shaun of the Dead. I mean, a comedy involving nazis gets bonus points right away.

Actually, this movie reminds me of the concept behind the comic book ZMD: Zombies of Mass Destruction. Don't really know why, other than the who war + zombies thing I guess.

That comic wasn't a critque on the Iraq war was it? Because there was this other short film that totally ruined the concept of that by having the dead rise from the graves to vote Democrat.

It only got so much praise because it was ferverently anti-bush to a point that was incredibly simplistic and idiotic.

I just noticed something in that trailer. AT about 1:40, someone grabs a sickle, and the next gut grabs a hammer.

The hammer and sickle of course being a common symbol for communism. Communists battling facists. Maybe this will be pretty funny.

Okay. I was in to the whole idea of Nazi Zombies at first, but when it suddenly burst into that music bit as they were slicing and dicing the dead guys, I couldn't take it seriously. I mean, COME ON! Who can take this movie seriouesly when the trailer plays "Ode to Joy" as they are killing zombies?

That was funny. XD

That's not exactly a high standard to beat, though.
