It's hard to believe there isn't a topic for this o_o after searching 10 pages

Well, if you don't know what animal crossing is, it's basically a simulation game where you get your own little special town with unique animal characters and a special kind of fruit. Each game is different, you'll see this from others games; like where I have oranges my friends have peaches and pears.

The point in this game? Basically have fun everyday, collect items like furniture and clothes. Make your town folk happy by sending them letters and improve the environment by planting flowers and trees. Complete your town's museum by collecting fish, bugs, fossils, and paintings.

This isn't the type of game where you finish it in a few hours, it's a game where you play a bit each day. In reality, the game is never really complete. It's done when you're done with it~! c:

I have Animal Crossing for the wii and the DS although I've only started playing recently so my towns aren't too well developed.

Anyone else play? Or does anyone wanna share friend codes? :awesome: I just realized that this game sounds sort of unappealing...

I have the original Gamecube game and Wild World around here somewhere. I wasn't as enamored with Wild World though. Much of my daily activity was sort of a collectors type of thing; with the NES games being the highest of that.

When they removed that from the sequels, for obvious reasons of not wanting to give games away in another when they can charge for them in a bull**** sporadically updated service, I started losing some of the interest I had in it without those there to collect. After all, three quarters of the furniture you can collect in the game is varied, but doesn't actually do anything interesting. Eventually the most fun I had in the game was running around and nailing people with the net.

I've actually skipped City Folk completely thus far.

You can't do that in City Folk. Pisses me off.

What I love about city folk is that you can make your character look like your Mii. And that you can use expressions.

I haven't found anything that has annoyed me too much in City Folk so far :]

Then again it would be cool to attack people with nets...

I guess my biggest pet peeve would be the keyboard and writing letters, it takes a long time .__. why doesn't the copy button work on letters?!
