You know, originally I kind of wrote this off. I liked Underworld and Unleashed, despite their own flaws and areas in need of improvement. But a prequel didn't inspire much confidence in me. The cynical part wondered if it was happening simply because they couldn't work out a deal with the actrs or something. That and something made me feel as though it had DTV written all over it. That said, the trailer changed my mind. I think I may end up going to see this. If only for some of the expository backstory on Lucien. |

Stephenie Meyer does not write vampires. She writes sparkly impostors. |

Well, whatta ya gonna do? Unfortunately, all the truth in the world won't erase their existance. Though I do find myself annoyed sometimes at how someone could throw away most of the lore of a given concept and then still identify it as such. Have you ever seen any of the Underworld films al? |

I really liked Underworld. The second movie was a little meh for me. I'll probably see this, though more than likely on DVD or BR. For some reasons the commercials for this one are making me think of the Bloodrayne movies for some reason (Don't know, my mind KNOWS it should be connecting the two... and yet here we are) and I'm taking that as enough reason to avoid it in the theatre. |

I agree. Although this one I'm excited about because...well, I do like the Lycans/werewolves more than the vamps. Then again, I always have. Still, I'm excited about this movie. |

I loved the other two. And once I found out this was a prequel I was questioning if this was going to be as good as the others. Me and prequels or sequels do not mix. |

Same usually goes for me too. Except for me it's just prequels. Usually when I see a sequel become a prequel, a red flag goes up in my mind. But thankfully this looks like it will be rather decent, so hopefully that red flag was unwarrented. |
