Trailer-Thing for new Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix Changeling, Haloe, cross your fingers and hope to God that this comes out in the U.S. Now if you'll excuse me... There was another part of the Turtles franchise that was always awesome, the games! I remember playing them when I was little, man those games ruled. Sure they werre primative side scrolling beat-um ups...but they had the turtles people! Here's just a few of those great games. you'll notice a pattern here, most people choose Donatello cause his weapon, the bo, has the longest reach it seems. So you'll see a lot of him. I made for it though by finding one where mikey pounds super shredder! Go Mikey! TMNT The Manhattan Project! First level of the hyperstone hiest! Dontello fights Dinosaurs! Turtles to Naruto theme! Mikey fights Super Shredder! And of course the new generation of turtle games. Demo Walkthrough of the new TMNT game Now I need to go have some pizza. |

Yeah that little sect of nuts is crazy. I should know, I've had my own problems with religious weirdos recently, sometimes saying things not too dissimilar from what these whackos preach. Thanks for spreading the word on how bad religious intolerance is moony. You're a credit to freedom loving people everywhere. You know all this sick villianous jerks makes me pining for funnier, more intelligent and cooler bad guys. So here's one of my favourite episodes of TMNT for your viewing enjoyment. Super Bebop & Mighty Rocksteady |

Canadian Bacon, only Moore film I ever sorta liked. Meh, oh well. Anyway, time to go on to another character in the Turtles universe. The hockey masked vigilante Casey Jones. Violent and oh so loved by the fan base of the turtle fans. He's making his CGI return for the movie, however I don't expect to find too many favourable reviews of him. You see over thenyears casey has been redone several times, from the comic, to the cartoons, to the original movie, its hard to say which one is the real Casey Jones. So I'm going to let you guys decide. I've found both Cartoon carnations of Casey Jones from the original and new series of TMNT. One of them is obviously more funnier while the other is more involved with the story and can be seen as slightly darker. 1980's series http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGgLizte0IY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2cnRRbIVZk New Series http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8lk9sW3D80 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYPkM08j63Q Can you see a resemblance to a certain renegade cop on the edge with the 80's version? Personally, my fave version of Casey Jones has always been the movie one. I think it was because of his and Ralph's first meeting. Speaking of which... Ralphel vs Casey Jones I love Ralph's cricket line. Ah the memories. |

Same here LM. Canadian Bacon is the only Moore film I like, much less can stomache. And there's no denying it. Casey Jones = epic, epic win. I'll have to agree with you. The movie version is my favorite of the bunch too. I'm hoping the one from the CGI movie will be like the one from the live action movies. He should be anyways dammit. After all, this movie is a continuation of the franchise (skipping three of course). Something I'm hoping is with the imminent release of the fourth Turtles movie is someone will get their damn ass in gear and get out a Special Edition of the first movie already! I've been waiting for it for who knows how long. Anyways, back on Casey, I must say that I liked his portrayal in the recent series almost as much as the movies. I thought it did some justice to him. The Casey Jones of the 80's Turtles series, however, is downright laughable. It was like he was trying to sound like Dirty Harry and failed miserably. This is painful for me to admit, as I'm a huge fan of Casey, more so then any of the turtles even. Anyways, I don't think Casey has differed as much as you might think between series. The only thing that has been changed a lot between series is the level of violence he's allowed to do. In the original comics, he was almost willing to murder some serious criminals (if I'm not mistaken, he never did go through with it though). The only other major alteration I can think is the sense of sarcasm from the movies. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Casey Jones was the only reason to ever watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III again. The only reason. They really should have gone ahead and got Elias Koteas to reprise his role as movie Casey by lending his voice to the upcoming movie. Oh well. =/ |

Maybe if Moore stuck to trying to make comedy entertainment instead of comedy entertainment disguised as a documentary I'd like him more. Unfortunately he just likes his money and his crockumentaries get him the most of it. To be fair to the 80's cartoon Casey, we need to remember that the TV show back then was a comedy adventure series. It was a cheesy presentation of a parody of Dirty Harry. But at least the character remained as violent and head strong as ever. I suppose you're right, he didn't change much throughout the franchise, I was more refering to how he was represented in the franchises really, not how he acted. Also, the movie version had the best oneliners. Chances are the fourth movie special edition will be released, or announced, on the day the turtles return to theatres. Give it time though, they have to make sure the movie will be success before they do anything. As for the original actor of Casey not reprising his role, I think its the unfortunate truth that most actors decide they want to move on from past roles and do new things. Sucks, but its truth. I'm sure the new movie actor will be just as good though. Now let's get back to the original series, it was of course comedy oriented. The Turtles and their enemies broke the forth wall dozens of times, they had dozens of pop culture references and of course there were always some weird cartoon gags thrown in. It also made fun of itself alot. For instance, here's a scene that depicts the usual situation that Shredder and Krang found themselves in on a daily basis fighting the Turtles. The plan As you can see, while the show was action packed and fun it could repeat itself a lot. April got captured throughout the series, although usually it was in the pursuit of a story. Like Lois Lane from the original Superman cartoon shorts, she was a go-getting reporter who felt underappreciated by the staff. Her williningness to prove herself as cut out for the investigative reporting bussiness got her into some rough situations, but hey who said searching for the truth was going to be easy and uneventful. Shredder was also pretty ridiculous. He more then once proved himself a match for the turtles when he faced them alone, but most of the time his own henchmen, Bebop and Rocksteady, messed everything up for him. Krang was the real evil mastermind of the series and was much more copetent then Shredder. Then again he was a large pink ugly brain thing from diemension x. Anyway here's another piece of Turtles history, the toy commercials. Just few for now, bring back the memories of you seeing them on tv and then begging mom and dad to buy them for you. Turtles Vehicles: Mikey's Beach Buggy and Shreddermobile Turtle Van and the Turtle Cycle Also as a specialtreat here Krang and Shredder reinacting a scene from "day of the dead." One of those youtube gems you can't find anywhere else. Day of the Shredder |

You know your franchise has reached its greatest in popularity when it gets its own cereal brand, C3PO's for Star Wars and the Mario and Zelda Cereals for example. The turtles inevitablely reached this stage with the introduction of the highly sugary "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cereal." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k0ExS6YWoEw Also the inevitable popularity of the Turtles eventually leads to the US government trying to use them to stop drugs. Now allow me to explain something, the people who leave comments on this video are idiots. Well msot of them are. They are mostly drug users who apparently are too stupid to know that they wasting their lives taking drugs when there are some many other things they could be doing. Instead they choose to be uncreative idiots who hurt themselves and their families by smoking. They never go anywhere in life, they don't die, don't go to jail, but they end up not doing anything...period. So to say the least, do what the Turtles say, don't do drugs. By the way Mikey never did no drugs, so shut it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTWDIUonqIw...related&search= With that said, who wants waffles? TMNT-Waffles |
