You underestimate the evil of fangirls my friend. I know their horrors firsthand. The horror, the hoooorrooooor... *rocks in fetal position* |

No believe me, I think I know. I verbally criticized a fangirl's Sonadow romance fanfic, telling her that not only was it disgusting to the people who don't like yaoi stories, but it also went against everything that was in canon with the Sonic game storyline. There is no proof that Sonic and Shadow are homosexuals, and they would definitely not get together in a relationship, since their rivalry is pretty intense. Then she began sending me hate mails for what I had said, all of these including voice recordings, video recordings of her b####ing about my criticism... at first, I tried to pretend she wasn't there, but when the messages became excessive, I just blocked her address. And that was the end of it. I would never directly confront a fangirl about her works again. Fanboys and fangirls alike even like to make their characters faster than Sonic. One day, Sonic will come across the fancharacter, he'll just randomly challenge him/her to a race, and Sonic will be beaten. Then Sonic just shrugs it off. OKAY, LEMME TELL YOU FANBOYS/GIRLS SOMETHING RIGHT NOW!!! MAKING YOUR CHARACTER FASTER THAN SONIC IS NOT ONLY UNORIGINAL, BUT IT ALSO TAKES AWAY FROM SONIC'S FAME AND THUNDER!! And I'm pretty sure I can hear you guys going, "But in the games, all the characters are very fast and can run through loops!" Does that mean they can run as fast as Sonic? No! It doesn't! |

Ungh... Don't get me started. The first paragraphs of a Sonadow fanfic and I was pressing the 'x' button. Anyways, agreed the quality of games has gone down since SA2:B, SA: DX has those 'adventure fields' that NEVER get old. Taking the burger store mannequin and making him get run over by cars is WAY more fun than defeating Iblis, and Perfect Chaos is a perfect example of a boss battle does'nt mean I'm giving up on this one. Sonic Unleashed would be the pwn-ness with a Chao garden. But werewolf Chao. And one other thing.... The cliche monster that Eggman summons that is far more stronger than him is returning. Joy, Joy, Joy. Let's see....Chaos. Shadow. And (although Eggman didn't REALLY summon this one) Bio Lizard. Too many! Too MANY SEGA!!! Unless this is as intense as Final Hazard, Perfect Chaos, Metal Storm, Alfwaylawalayla, and Devil Doom all combined, Leave me out of the Last Storymode. Why can't we just kill Eggman, then let the game end? No GIANT MEGA MONSTER THAT WILL END THE FLOW OF REALITY!!!!!!! Anyways, I don't think the Wii version is as good. All I have is a Wii. I might buy a PS3 for MGS4 anyways, I'm still trying to nab a 360. If I get em all, Maybe I'll just pick up a copy of Unleashed for each system... |

Not really surprised that you don't like Iblis, considering a lot of people hated Next-Gen in general. Me, I actually liked Iblis.
Uh, that's Metal Overlord.
Alf Layla wa-Layla. Just doing some spell checking. *ahem*
Because if Eggman is actually killed, then Sonic loses a great archenemy. Sega killing off Eggman would be like Nintendo killing off Bowser. Without Eggman involved in some way, a Sonic game... just wouldn't be a Sonic game at all. |

It's deinitely a horrid cliche by now that Eggman ends up creating a bigger mess and isn't the big boss in the end. We've seen it in the core games since Adventure. It's recockulously old by now. Heh, I've wanted a PS3 since it came out, but haven't had the money. Considering MGS4 is now out... I'm a silently weeping Solid Snake fan because I have no PS3. ;___; |

I don't know. I don't mind the presence of other villains in the Sonicverse. Black Doom, Mephiles, and Erazor were all so badass. Metal Sonic also goes under the badass category. Eggman Nega's... okay, I guess. Captain Whisker from Sonic Rush Adventure's a pretty good villain, even if he did only appear in one game, because the series doesn't have too many villains of the comical and bumbling type. Master Core: ABIS. The main villain of Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity. Or at least, I think he's the main villain, I'm not sure, the story of the game is way too similar to I, Robot for me to tell. I don't really have a comment on this robot. King Boom Boo, the King of Ghosts. The ghost from Sonic Adventure 2. The one with a rainbow-coloured tongue. This guy was actually pretty cool, and he was one of the more supernatural villains of the series. It's a shame he didn't make any appearances in any of the games after SA2. Fang the Sniper is definitely a wild card villain who needs to make a big comeback. A bounty hunter who only cares about himself and money. He makes money by taking jobs from people who are willing to pay him. If the other side is willing to pay him more money than he's being offered, he will not hesitate to turn on his previous employers. But most of the time, he works for himself, finding jewels like the Chaos Emeralds, and hoping to make a big profit off of them. I don't plan on getting a PS3. Not too soon anyway. I'll wait for other good games to come out. Ratchet & Clank Future, and Resistance: Fall of Man alone isn't enough to get me to buy the system. |

I'm not adversed to other villains in the universe either. It's good for variety. But let's be honest with each other here Soni; it's a cliche by now for Eggman to unleash something bigger than himself, lose control and end up not the final enemy by now. He's become kind of a bit card villain by now when he's the ORIGINAL villain. If he was used effectively more often, I wouldn't have such a problem.
Actually, around now is about the time where I've been thinking it's a good idea to get one, myself. I wanted nothing to do with it within the first year or two. But by now, aside from the two you mentioned, there are some other rather cool titles out there for the system. With MGS4 finally out, it's kind of icing on the cake for me. There are some games in the PS3's future I'm looking forward to as well. But I do understand where you're coming from. I guess I feel a bit differently on it; that there's enough out to warrent a purchase if you can get up the money. |

Yeah, I guess. Like, he doesn't have to be in every Sonic or Sonic-related game that Sega (or in Brawl's case, Nintendo) cranks out... I mean, he practically is in every game in some way, be it in the role of a main character, or a small cameo appearance, like an unlockable trophy in Brawl. But if you're going to have Eggman do something sneaky, make him the mastermind of all the schemes in a game, or at least have him team up with a villain without any problems. I'm still waiting for an actual Mario and Sonic platforming game where Bowser and Eggman will join forces. BioWare's stated that Eggman won't be the main villain in Sonic Chronicles, but he'll be a more serious threat than he previously has been. Mm. Well, I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Really, the only games after Adventure that has him as the main villain are as listed. Sonic the Hedgehog Pocket Adventure Sonic Advance Sonic Advance 2 Sonic Pinball Party Sonic Battle... ...I guess... Sonic Rush Sonic Riders Sonic Rush Adventure Once again, I show off my amazing knowledge of the world of Sonic. =D We can't really judge from a game that hasn't been released so far, but from the looks of it, it seems like Sonic Unleashed places Eggman in the role of main villain of the game.
When Sony lowered the price of the PS3, I was shocked. Really. I thought that a while ago, Sony had stated they wouldn't lower the price of the console. Guess I was wrong. |

I wasn't. The only reason it was so high is because when it first debuted, the hardware was mega expensive to make. At six hundred dollars, Sony was actually losing money with each console sold. Once the parts get cheaper, every console lowers in price. Eventually, Sony will be able to actually profit from the system as well instead of just the games right now. |

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lair_%28video_game%29 Sony was counting on this piece of crap to be a big hit. I'm surprised they gained money for this game at all. |

They were relying on a couple other ones to be big hits too. But yeah, I remember them weighing heavily in on that one. And failing badly. Which is sad, it looked very cool. |

No. I meant just make him the final boss, and no GIANT AWESOME MONSTER OF DOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!! .......... Wait..... I just flattened my own point. A GIANT AWESOME MONSTER OF DOOM is what makes sonic so badass..... AND... the next gen games and.... Eggman Nega... peheheh... are NOTHING compared to king Boom Boo and the Egg Golem. |

I don't really consider the Egg Golem to be a villain, really. He's just another addition to Eggman's army of robots. |

Thou shalt not mock the Egg Golem!!! Anyways, this has been off the topic of Unleashed lately. Back on it, I would like to say that if Unleashed is as good as they promised it, It should like.... print money for SEGA. And the only way it can be that good is if they bring back the Final Hazard. Don't you try to stop me SoniCalvin.... I'm gunna make the call. And if they don't.... consider SEGA to be punished. |

Yeah okay fine, I'll let you do that. Then we'll see how Sonic Team will manage to explain how the Biolizard managed to survive the events of Sonic Adventure 2, when it was clearly merged with the ARK when it was killed off. I'm kind of intrigued as to how you will punish Sega if they refuse to fulfill your request. |
