I plan on buying the game, so sending it back is not that big a deal. Gonna wait until the price is down a bit before I buy it. I enjoyed the game enough to make it worth purchasing, I think.

DLC is always a good idea. The only thing about it is price. I'm of the opinion that DLC should have some standardized pricing, but until something like that happens, I hope Sega asks a fair price for DLC.

So, now that the three Sonic games that were in the pipeline have now been released, what's your feelings on the Sonic franchise right now Soni?

Me, I'm feeling a bit better. We have one below average game (Sonic and the Black Knight), on decent game (Sonic Unleashed) and one really good one (Sonic Chronicles). All in all, I'm feeling better about things with the franchise than I have in a while. If Sonic Team keeps up with improvements, things could get better as time goes on.

Well, while Sonic and the Black Knight was in development, I was really hoping that Sonic Team would impress me, despite the concept of having to stop running for a few seconds to slash enemies. But no, it's a below average game.

But then, it's only been one disappointing game. Sonic Chronicles and Unleashed were enough to keep my faith in the franchise going. There's no doubt that Sonic Chronicles 2 will be a success.

Then, there's Mario and Sonic's trip to Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Olympics... Despite their third game together being another Olympic sports game, I at least hope it's a fun game to play. Most important thing about a video game? You gotta have fun playing it. And if I'm not able to squeeze any fun out of Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympics, well then my faith in Sonic will be turned down a notch.
