Coming this December, the final frontier comes back to us again in Star Trek: Under Construction Those who didn’t get a chance to catch J.J. Abrams reality themes horror "Cloverfield" over the weekend missed the teaser trailer for the newest Star Trek Movie. It caused a nice little buzz throughout most theaters with a voice over from Leonard Nimoy building the excitement. The movie is due out on Christmas Day 2008. |

Is the script completed already? I ask because while talks are supposed to resume today, there's no telling when the Strike will end. So if the script isn't completed already, I fear this movie might see delays. The industry is suffering enough delays as is. >_< |

Can't say what the script is. But from what the trailer and some hinted info suggest. The premise of the film is about the first mission of the first Enterprise. Now, if this is true. This might be a desperate attempt to ignore the Enterprise series. |

Which is probably for the best. Enterprise has been critcally panned among Star Trek fans. Hopefully it's done. Even if the strike were to end tomorrow, there's going to be a period where we don't have any movies or TV shows. It'd be nice to have SOMETHING to look forward to. |

Well in this century according to Star Trek, people start to no longer watch television. |

And we won't be playing baseball by the mid-century mark. One would hope. |

Would Soccer reign supreme? I'm curious to see Zachary Quinto's version of Spock. Because I'm so used to seeing him on Heroes as Sylar, an insane in the membrane man with insane powers. That he stole. |
