I dunno...seeing Kirk eat a bucket of worms during Pledge Week would be entertaining. I just don't want it to become American Pie Goes Star Trek.

I think if that happened al just about everyone that even remotely likes Star Trek would take the sanest course of action for such a situation.

Disavow any knowledge of the movie and pretend it doesn't exist.

Some of them did it for Enterprise

I'm not a big fan of these but every once in a while you find one that sticks with you because of the scenes and the music. While I wasn't a big fan of this episode at first, I've grown a bit attached to it

One of my favorite Family Guy gags.

Especially how they played their own characters. This is just proof that Star Trek fans always become bigger than those who ridicule them

PS Al, I can get you that episode

Favor me with your opinion, SA--as geeky as this is (less so for me, I never watched Babylon 5) is this still totally bitchin'?

I know something nerdier!

The Star Fleet and the Rebel Alliance VS The Galactic Empire VS The Borg VS The Covenant Armada VS The Collective power of the Doop warfleet commanded by Captain Zaph Brannigan.

Kif: The Covenant is charging sir
Zaph: A classic and daring move, straight out of Sun Tzu's " the Art of War." or my own book Zaph Brannigan's big book of War. But what their captain doesn't know and never will is that-
Kif: Sir they've docked with us and are preparing to board.
Zaph: Then I have risked all and lost. Kif I'll be in the escape pod if that wicker chair I like survives the battle have it sent there.
(Elites blast through the door)
Elite: Wart Wart Wart!

Try and tell me that wouldn't be cool? Try!

Given how I never watched Babylon 5, I can't get into that vid like I hoped I would. However if it came down to it, who would win, Rebel Alliance or the Federation fleet?

I can't tell if this is a trick question or not, but in case it's not: Federation. Better weapons, more numbers, and I generally like Star Trek more anyway.

Now if the Rebels had Jedi, that would be woefully different.

Technically they had Luke but I agree, the Federation would probably win. But they would lose a lot of ships to all those X-Wing and Y-Wing ships

Well that's why they have the Defiant, to pick off the little fighters.

However I think the Death Star could easily defeat a Federation fleet

True...all the races though, Federation and Klingons and Romulans together, I think they'd have a shot.
