I still remember when I was 3, watching the opening credits and laughing and shouting "Eeeeeeeeeeen-tooooooooo-piiiiiiiiiiize!!!"

My brother was yelling at me. "IT'S NOT ENTEPWIZE! IT'S NOT! DAAAAAD!!!"

Good times...

I remember being 4 and watching TNG with my dad and always praying that Worf wouldn't come on screen. Being that young, you think he really is an alien who can jump through the screen and eat your heart. Other than jump through the screen, Worf could do that

I always liked Worf. Klingons were always cool to me. Sure, his character could be a bit phoned-in at times, but still.

Honestly, I think DS9 did an amazing job. What could have been a dull series (How many weekly adventures can centre around a space station) blossomed into something amazing. Plus, they made great use of secondary characters (Dukat, Damar, Female Changeling, Weyoun, Nog and my favourite (Cardassian) spy, Garak...or is he a tailor?

I loved Nog and Garak, but Quark was the best. He made the Ferengi likable.

And to think THEY were supposed to be the big villian of TNG. Thank god for the Borg. However we did see some Ferengi to be devious in some episodes but Quark is cool. I'll have to find that video with him and Garak talking about root beer

I found that personally insulting--love root beer myself. I wonder whether Coke or Pepsi was more popular at Quarks?

Gah. The Borg. I remember them well enough.

I can't remember when, but I did see the episodes where Captain Picard was assimilated in TNG at some point. I can barely remember the episodes now though.

It's been so long and I'm only just now getting back into watching TNG regularly when it's on. Did they ever follow up much on the assimilation after Picard was brought back to normal (mostly)?

I do remember there being a couple episodes in DS9 where Sisko was pissed at Picard because when he was assimilated Picard killed his wife, if I recall correctly. Other then that though, I'm having a hard time remembering much else.

There was an episode called Family where Picard went back to Earth right after the borg attack and tried to deal with it. And the episode where Sisko and Picard met was Emissary, first episode of DS9. If you want to catch some episodes. Go to Dailymotion dot com and type deep space nine. Lots of good episodes.
Anyway, I'm off to bed. I need something to help me sleep though.
Tea, Earl Gray, hot

For me it was the original series. Cheesy, yes. But its amazing how they could tell a story with limited production values.

I can do the Vulcan sign too. Took me practice but I got it.

Personally I'm more of a Warsie guys, don't hold that against me. Star Trek was good though, always did enjoy the storylines from the original series I caught on the Space channel.

Question, how come the red suit ensigns never caught on to the fact that whenever they were sent on an away team with Kirk none came back alive? I'm just asking.

I remember an episode where Kirk and the team were trapped on a Nazi Planet. I believe thats a classic episode, and explained the exact reason why Nazis were wrong.

Ah the classic days.

OK, what do you guys think of the new Star Trek movie that will show us what Captain Kirk and Spock were like at the Academy? Personally, I don't likethe idea one bit. If there's one thing Enterprise taught me (other than the fact that female Vulcan's have huge racks) is that prequels don't work in a franchise that big. Plus, I don't think people find Star Trek significant as they did when it premiered back in 1966

Ouch. It really doesn't sound like a good idea at all.

I dunno what to say about such a thing though that strikes it as a bad idea to me. Just... the whole concept seems... off.

Could this be a sign of them running out of ideas? They don't exactly have a Star Trek series at the moment do they.

Whatever the case, it kinda sounds like a bad idea to me. Not the kind of Star Trek movie that would have me going to the theatres to watch. =/

Star Trek: 90210. Enough said.

A movie about the Romulan war would've been better...

Well, it would be interesting to see what they were like back then(at the academy), but I don't think a movie would do it best, maybe a couple of flashbacks would do it.

(btw, I love The Original Series, and i just got into The Next Generation).

Maybe but...I honestly don't want to see Matt Damon as Kirk or Philip Seymour Hoffman as McCoy. No matter who thetalent is,people won't go for it
