The Turtles are always a must see. I'll definitly get around to them eventually. XD It was always a toss up between Leonardo and Michelangelo for my favorite. I'll likely be going to see the new movie. I grew up with the turtles, and, well, I guess the old turtle fandom never truely goes away. Titanic is a movie that I have a slight dislike for. The movie is fantastic all aroud. More proof James Cameron is a movie making god. But the thing is that it was so good, my sister played it fourty thousand times over three months some years back. Literally. At this point, I'm so burnt out on the movie I could probably go the rest of my life without seeing it again. XD;;;
Way late in responding to this. But either way, there were episodes where it was daytime in Gotham. See, the thing is, that we don't see it as daytime horribly often because thats not when Batman operates. Batman's the night shift. That's why we see him then. Sometimes we see him as Bruce Wayne in the daytime. The Catwoman episodes are an example.
Aside from Voltron, this is one of the earliest anime's I can remember watching, haha! But one of the earliest anime's came far earlier! *overexaggerated expression of shock* Awwww! O_O XP |

The WHS version of Titanic takes up two tapes...two tapes! I'm sorry but I don't go to disaster movies to watch romance crap for several hours. When the family wanted to watch the movie on VHS I left and came back for the scene where ship starts sinking. That part was cool. That guy slammed into the damn propellor! What a way to die, broken manhood and all. I thought the dumbest part of the movie was when Jack basically died and Rose didn't even try to pull him up. There was enough room on the damn raft you know. She had plently of space. I'm sorry, its just I thought she just let him die. Its kinda wierd. For me, the greatest diaster flick of all time was "The Day after Tommorow." Tornados of death, Tsunamis, Hurricanes, insta-freeze snow storms. Personally though I would've liked to see more of Volcano. I only caught a few scenes on TV. Look at that lava flow!
Leo was the cool Turtle I think, its why he got leader position. He was more bushido samurai then Ninja really. But he was still cool. Calm, collected, always had a plan, yep that was fearless leader Leo.
Mikey was my favourite, but I really was a fan of all the turtles. Donny was the nerd, Ralph the jerk and Leo the cool headed leader. Mikey was just more like me, fun loving and laid back. Plus I always wanted nunchucks. Apparently from what've seen in the commercials he's taken up a job entertaining kids at parties. The entertainment is him getting beat with foam swords. Poor Mikey, but from it fits his character the clown. Also Mikey still seems to have his typical "I'm not serious" dialogue. He was always the optomist of the group. I know a movie coming out this week that was awesome. Casino Royale! One of the best Bond flicks in ages really, not as many cool car chases as I wanted, but that whole scene in the airport was more then enough to satisfy me for awhile. Plus Daniel Craig is one of the best Bonds so far, right up there with Sean Connery, not above but right there with him. I look forward to the next Bond Film. Hopefully Casino Royale is the start of a new series. Remakes of all the classic novels, not the movies, the novels. I'd like to see that. |

Yes. You need antibiotics and some rest. You're in trouble. =P
This was part of my problem with the movie. I feel like an idiot for admitting it, but I don't mind a little romance in the movies. But I hate it when it's a part of every single goddamn movie running. I think this was a movie that could have used a little less on the romance bit and more on the ship. The movie undoubtably picked up with the ship sinking though. Then everything got real interesting and dramatic. And most three hour movies need two VHS tapes LM. The Lord of the Rings movies needed two per movie as well.
Strangely, I didn't like it. too many inconsistancies and things that defied logic way too much for me to enjoy it. I can suspend my disbelief pretty far, but when you try to make something realistic, I damn well expect some common sense on certain matters. Visually and disasterwise, however, it was pretty decent. The movie itself kinda lacked to me. |

I just went to it for the special effect to be honest. Where else can you see Tornados ripping up a city deserving of an apocalypse? (AKA Los Angeles) So if that movie was rather poor for your tastes Dl, whats a good disaster film to look into? |

Who Killed the Electric Car?![]() In 1996, electric cars began to appear on roads all over California. They were quiet and fast, produced no exhaust and ran without gasoline...........Ten years later, these cars were destroyed. it was among the fastest, most efficient production cars ever built. It ran on electricity, produced no emissions and catapulted American technology to the forefront of the automotive industry. The lucky few who drove it never wanted to give it up. So why did General Motors crush its fleet of EV-1 electric vehicles in the Arizona desert? WHO KILLED THE ELECTRIC CAR? chronicles the life and mysterious death of the EV-1; examining the cultural and economic ripple effects caused by its conception and how they reverberated deep into the halls of government and big business. The year is 1990. California is in a pollution crisis. The smog is so bad that the state is on the verge of returning to the haze days of the 1970 brown outs. Desperate for a solution, the California Air Recourses Board (CARB) targets the source of its problem: Car exhaust. Inspired by a recent announcement from General Motors about an electric vehicle prototype, the Zero Emissions Mandate (ZEV) is born. It requires 2% of California vehicles to be Zero Emission Vehicles by 1998, 10% by 2003. It is the most aggressive smog fighting mandate in the history of both the state and the automotive industry. Eager to satisfy the largest car consuming market in the world, GMs EV-1 electric vehicle is launched in 1997 with great fanfare from California consumers. It was the first perfect car of the modern age, requiring no gas, no oil, no mufflers, and no brake changes (a billion dollar industry itself.) A typical maintenance checkup for the EV-1 consisted of replenishing the windshield washer fluid and a tire rotation. Fast forward to 6 years later... The fleet is dead. EV charging stations dot the California landscape like tombstones, collecting dust and spider webs. How could this happen? Did anyone bother to examine the bodies? Yes, in fact, someone did. And it was murder. TRAILER: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MSBykAngDpY |
