Um, all of them actually. :D

They all are just incredibly forced marketing gimmicks that fail to capture the essence of the original movies. And they're making a third Little Mermaid movie! A THIRD!!!

When will it end, I ask of you?

I hate the second Atlantis movie. SO retarded.

Personally, as much as I like the Diseny movies, my one issue is that they're too redundant. I mean, all of 'em are main character has at least one dead parent, and either main character meets girl/guy they can;t have, falls in love with 'em, goes through hard times, then marries them, having learned a valuable lesson, or main character has misguided issue, has something dramatic happen to them, goes through hard stuff, and sees the error of their issue. I mean, I'm all for comforting familiarity, but would it kill Disney to make an original movie?!?

Usually it's the mother. And usually these characters will hear the same type of music in their head possibly or outloud from a mysterious origin, spontaneously create lyrics to fit the rythm of the music and give a detailed message over that song

Disney seems to have this really bad complex when it comes to sequels.

When they do the original movies, they tend to be timeless masterpieces. When they do the sequels, they tend to be pieces of crap.

This is also hence the term "Direct to Video". Generally, Direct to Video movies suck hard and are not worth the time, hence why they don't get big screen showings. They rely heavily on misguided consumers.

So basically, when it comes to Disney, if it's a new movie, give it a look. If it's a sequel, set it on fire. >_>

By the way, is it just me, or does anyone else think of the movie Gremlins whenever they see even a short clip of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves? =D

There's a Cinderella 2? What the heck could happen in that? She loses her glass birth control pills and by the stroke of midnight a seed shall be planted in her belly?
Sorry, that was gross

Depends on the sequel. When you talk of Disney sequels, yeah, but other movies tend to have good sequels. It's generally a 50-50 split between good and bad sequels.

Even rarer is the sequel that tops the original. Aliens. Thats all I have to say to prove sequels can be better then the original. Aliens.

I'm quite picky on Disney movies to begin with. I really only like select few. The Fox and the Hound, Lion King and a few others. I avoid Disney sequels like I avoid toxic sludge on the sidewalk. I run screaming from them because they are BAAAAAAAAD!

I'm a little shocked they would make a third Little Mermaid myself. Isn't exploitation grand?

Maybe they should just hand their properties over to the game company Square and let them make a Kingdom Hearts anime! >=D

Just kidding. XDDD

Though I wouldn't mind seeing that. >_>

From what I hear the first one was too. My chemistry teacher back before I graduated didn't see it. His family went to see it, but he was in the next theater over watching The Matrix Revolution. He said he'd blow himself up before he ever watched Brother Bear. XDDDD

I died laughing when I heard that. XP
