I finally saw it and all I can say now is...WOW!...Just WOW! That episode was great, f'n funny, and very sad at the same to see what happened to Chef. It's amaizing how they can make that type of episode, with that level of humor and creativity, in only a week. Also, Kyle's speech was touching and really showed how much Matt and Trey really respected Isaac (or that's what I think).

Damn you Super Adventure Club! DAMN YOU!

----
I heard that Isaac really didn't want to quit, but was one of the Scientologists that gave out a press release that he quits

CHEF NEEDS JOB
March 23, 2006 -- ISAAC Hayes may not have quit "South Park" at all - or at least not willingly. Turns out Hayes has been away from Comedy Central's hit show for the past three months because he had a stroke. According to foxnews.com, he's at home recuperating and did not issue the press release which said he was quitting because the show made fun of his faith. That release was put out by fellow Scientologist Christina "Kumi" Kimball, a fashion executive for designer Craig Taylor. According to foxnews.com, "Hayes loves 'South Park' and needs it for income. He has a new wife and a baby on the way."

I wonder if this means he'll come back--and we'll get a black-clad Chef singing songs about lovemaking and killing your teachers. Here's to you, Chef.

I heard Kyle eulogy and I think that it was Matt, Trey and every South Park crew member speaking to every South Park fan. We can't hate Isaac for what he did. We should remember the good times...and hate Scientology

What do I think of South Park?

I don't like it. It's too...well, I don't really have an adjective for it. It's not for me. Whenever I watch South Park I get a "omg obnoxious feeling", not to offend anyone.

That's just my two cents.
nil magnum nisi bonum.
enjoy the moment.

I just watched "Osama bin Laden Has Farty Pants" and it has to be one of the funniest episodes ever. What's so remarkable is that it was made less than three months after 9/11.
The Bugs Bunny like chase between Osama and Cartman was so funny I almost peed myself

I think the hardest I ever laughed at an episode of South Park was when they were playing detective and they came up with these crazy theories about what happened to a pie in a window sill (the husband was going to kill the wife, dismember her, and dissolve her body in the bathtub) or how a doll was stolen (...I wouldn't do justice to it...)

That's still one of the funniest things I've ever heard.

On a related note, you can find the English translation to the ninja song on Wikipedia. You know, the "let's fighting love," thing.

God what a hilarious episode. I'm watching Smug Alert on youtube. I love how they ripped into George Clooney and his acceptance speech. I did find that he was a bit...smuggish

I didn't watch the Academy Awards. Was his speech really as bad as South Park said?

Wow. Wow. All right, so I'm not winning director. It's the funny thing about winning an Academy Award, it will always be synonymous with your name from here on in. It will be Oscar winner, George Clooney. Sexiest Man Alive, 1997. Batman, died today in a freak accident at a -- Listen, I don't quite know how you compare art. You look at these performances this year, of these actors and unless we all did the same role, everybody put on a bat suit, and we'll all try that. Unless we all did the same role, I don't know how you compare it. They are stellar performances and wonderful work, and I'm honored, truly honored to be up here. And finally, I would say that, you know, we are a little bit out of touch in Hollywood every once in a while. I think it's probably a good thing. We're the ones who talk about AIDS when it was just being whispered, and we talked about civil rights when it wasn't really popular. And we, you know, we bring up subjects. This Academy, this group of people gave Hattie McDaniel an Oscar in 1939 when blacks were still sitting in the backs of theaters. I'm proud to be a part of this Academy. Proud to be part of this community, and proud to be out of touch. And I thank you so much for this.

According to one character on the show: "I mean, he tried to take credit for the civil rights movement!"

I love South Park. My favorite character is Cartman.

I was watching 'Cartman gets an anal probe' with my friends Burris and Laura when Laura started farting a lot. Burris and I were teasing her and calling her Cartman. She was like "Duche bags, that really hurt, I swear I was farting out fire". It turns out she ate like two bowls of Kashi: Go lean Crunch cereal and it's really high fiber and it's supposed to "clean out your bowels" --translation 'It makes you fart like heck.

Dayamn, that's alot of smug!

After last week's Family Guy episode, I think Matt Groening found an ally in his war on Stewie. Next week we find out the terrible secret of the Family Guy writers--gee, I wonder what it could be?

Craaaab people...

Personally I think these attacks of Family Guy may be out of bitterness. I happen to like both shows but I give a slight edge to Family Guy. The Simpsons is beating a dead horse but South Park manages to stay fresh and edgy due to the time it takes to make an episode.

I hope it's not crab people though...I would like to see something we hadn't seen before.

And yes...that was A LOT of smug!

Oh, come on. Of COURSE it's crab people. My brother thinks it's the Super Best Friends, but I know it'll be crab people.

I actually like South Park more than Family Guy. I think it's better written and more consistent than Family Guy. That's not to say that Family Guy isn't funny--I just think South Park's more consistent with the humor.

As far as The Simpsons is concerned, I think it still has it's moments, and a few of the new episodes are downright hilarious, but yeah, the quality's gone way down. Still, it has plenty of gas in the tank.
