I personally think that the COS told him that he can't work on SP anymore. It's really sad. I hope they don't kill the character off, just give an explination as to why he is gone.
But you are right, he is a hypocrite. They make fun of everybody, they've been doing it for almost 10 years and now he says, "This isn't right." Like, I don't care if you make fun of Streisand-cause it's really funny-but you can't get upset because they mock your religion after mocking everyone elses.
I always hope for the best...experience unfortunately has taught me to expect otherwise

Yeah I have to agree. He didn't have a problem until they insulted his religin in one episode. And they made fun of so many other people. But I'm not surprised I read an article about one episode that enraged a community in Australia or something because it made fun of their religion. I think it was the episode about a statue that was bleeding and it turned out it was menstruating. It seems alot were kind of offended from some episodes. But I'm black and christian but I don't take it seriously because they make fun of everyone. :P

That's why South Park is as popular as it is now...it's because they actually have the balls to make fun of major/non-major real life issues and major celebrities, and push the line further that no cartoon or non-cartoon show has ever done that it's enjoyable and extremely hilarious to watch (plus they give that big disclaimer at the begining of the show saying that they're making fun and all that stuff). Let's face it, South Park is like the Opie and Anthony/Howard Stern of television shows.

Something interesting--last night, they were supposed to show the Scientology one, but instead they showed "Chef's Salty Chocolate Balls."

Coincidence?

Apparently Comedy Central decided not to show the Scientology and showed 'Chef's Chocolate Salty Balls' instead because of Hayes leaving the show. Something about showing his most popular episodes. But I wouldn't be surprised if they feared a lawsuit from the COS. I mean, Tom Cruise can be pretty crazy sometimes.

Did anyone see the response letter Trey and Matt sent to the COS. They delcared themselves, "Servants of Xenu."

OMG I love this show! *snickers* My parent's dont know I'm watching it. They don't know how cool it is. My favorite character is Kenny and Cartman. But mostly Kenny, even though he dies in every episode. And cartman is a laugh out loud character. My favorite eppy is the one with the Ginger Kids and my favoirite song is the one sung by Cartman "Kyle's Moms' a *****" :bbwiggle:

Ha, I read that. All hail Lord Xenu...they're brave men to tangle with Tom Cruise, aren't they? I mean, come on--the man's an expert with a katana. Or his stunt double is, with T.C.'s face superimposed over his, but...you get the picture.

New episodes start this Wednesday. I can't wait.

Yeah I love that song too. Cartman makes me laugh so hard. That was in the Christmas Special with Mr.Hankey. Howdy Ho!

It was also in the movie--just the same, only Cartmany-er. And there was a chorus.

I missed it...but I heard the some sound clips on Opie and Anthony this morning and I was cracking my a** off. With the Chef's clipped sentences and the story of the Super Aventure Club and the end of Chef...I almost drove off the street. Now that's a way to get back at Scientology.

I'm going 2 watch it tonight.

Did you hear Kyle's eulogy? It was actually quite touching, especially the part at the end where he said "We shouldn't hate Chef for what he did--we should hate that fruity little club for scrambling his brain."

Yeah, I heard it. It's just awseome how they can rip Scientology a new one, as a child molester group, and get away with it. And they did it in such a creative and hilarious way that this episode will rank as one of their top 5 episodes ever made.

I wonder if they'll put in Darth Chef(?) in a few episodes

Hopefully, if and when Isaac Hayes comes to his senses and realizes what he's doing, we'll get a final farewell to Chef. Until then, I guess he's a child molester.

*SPOILER* There was a scene where the Super Adventure Club is telling the story of their founder, the greatest explorer who ever lived, who decided that if he couldn't discover the new lands, he would be the first to molest the native children, and that it gave him immortality. During the scene there's a montage of the little particles that cause immortality, placed there by an evil alien warlord, accompanied by a caption that says "This is what Super Adventure Club Actually Believes."
