So you were born out of wedlock? Well, at least you get to see both of your parents...

At least your mother didn't ship you off to San Diego without so much as asking your permission. At least your father isn't an overbearing perfectionist clean-freak. Count your blessings.

Sadly, blessings can't be counted. Good news is, everyone has at least one blessing.

My father is an overbearing perfectionist clean freak. You'll see what else he is if you look at my long winded post in the bad stuff thread.

I've read that, yeah.

You know, if it helps, my mom cheated on my dad with another woman once.

Ummm...she...might have been a deciding factor. She's the ultimate Republican stereotype--loves Reagan, hates Mexicans. And my dad just so happens to be Mexican...AND he hates Reagan...

Yeesh...I guess we're in a similar scenario...

Loudness runs in my mother's side of the family. My mother can get really loud when she's mad, she treats me like I'm a baby sometimes probably because I'm her only kid. She calls me everytime I go somewhere and tells me to come home. I know she's just looking out for me in this dangerous world but sometime I don't need her to save me all the time, I can take of myself. My dad on the other hand doesn't bother me unless when he's screaming about how he pays the bills.

Well im not facing any problems with my parents. Still lovin em and having fun.

But my best friend seems to be facing probs with her parents. Not gonna go into detail but its disaster to see em like this. I'm just so worried tht the love tht use to be there is just slowly breaking apart. Its just as painful to me to see a family with no love, I always believed a parent should love their child regardless of everything, whether s/he is different from other children, cant fit in etc, the child must always recieve love by his/her parents.

Im basically a sucker for familial moments, i love lil mother/daughter or father/daughter moments. Its why enjoy reading many fanfic where character is placed with his/her family such Raven and Arella. The love between a child and his mother/father is very precious. Its just sadening for me to see when that love cannot be given to a child.

Whoa. Seems like I'm not the only one with parent problems. I hope y'all are okay. It's so sad how some parents can't get along with each other, and that really hurts the kids. I'll pray for you and all those other people out there...

(I'm not going to tell you what happens to me, though. I've only told two people in the whole entire world--God, and my very-best friend. It's personal.)

Tough parent lives. My parents invade my privacy to often. This is harsh considering I love my privacy. It gets annoying when they check your emails, account, notebooks etc. I keep changing my password word, but I have a guilty concience(sp) and my account is the best one. At least they don't care about Sims. If they looked at that........ :scared: @_@ :chair:
