I wasn't sure about where to put this topic but here it goes!
Talk about what you like to play and watch. Or better yet you could talk about your fav. athlete or team. If you picked other what is that sport?
I like to play soccer, swimming, softball, and volleyball. I like to watch to basketball on NBA.

Boxing! Fell in love with it about two years ago and now I can't get it out of my mind. That's why I wrote Raging Beast Boy and that's why I'm taking lessons later this year. I don't think there is any other sport that has such defined athletes-Muhammad Ali, Joe Frazier, Mike Tyson-and they train the hardest. No workout can hold a candle-I'm sorry-to a boxing workout.
I always hope for the best...experience unfortunately has taught me to expect otherwise

I'm a huge Martial Arts buff. I studied Kung Fu for over seven years and received the rank of Sensei (black belt + Teacher) at the age of 12. I think that's pretty good, isn't it? ;)

That's friggin awesome! I wish I was that good at kung fu! When I was arount 12 I was a karate maniac but I was only a green belt until I lost interest.

I like a lot of sports...wrestling(WWE), soccer, golf, tennis(can't wait for the Austrailian Open), hockey(NY Islanders), and huge with baseball(GO METS!).

Oh and the school gym sports are awsome; right now it's indoor soccer(my school's most popular gym sport), and soon handball...which is the best(I'm an awesome goalie in handball).

Oh, my God, Jason, that's so cool. A black belt at 12. Do you know what that means? There were people when you were 12 whou could beat up a black belt sensai.

OK...maybe it wasn't that funny (From a WeekendUpdate joke) but I think that's uber cool. I've decided to not be a pansy anymore and actually go to a boxing club. There are 2 close to where I live. One is pretty good, they have the Woman's Champ there but it costs a lot. 150 to start and then 30 bucks a month.
The other is 50 bucks a year.
You do the math...because I can't.

For as long as I can remember, I have been involved with sports. Not too surprising, however, considering I come from a sports-oriented family.

I have played basketball, softball, and volleyball in the past. My true sport, however, is cross-country. I run three-miles in a race but, during training, I have done so much as twelve in one day. I am hoping to increase that mileage, however, so I can be better prepared for next season.

I should also mention that I have taken some martial arts, too. I had a class on karate, so I know a few moves, but my biggest deal lay in the art of kendo. Kendo is Japanese stick fighting, with bamboo practice swords called shinai. I have not got to practice for a while, at least not in a dojo, but I did enjoy it quite a bit.

I can watch sports on TV but I just don't get as pumped as I usually do when I watch boxing. When that's on I'm so pumped I want to slip on a pair of gloves and find someone weaker than me and beat them up.
Boxing just literally pulls you in.

Same here with my sports, Shadow Avenger. Especially when it comes to cross-country and kendo. I run cross-country for a scholarship but I have always loved to run. I feel so...free. Meh, sounds corny, but it is true.

And I miss going to the dojo and hitting people with a bamboo sword...Just kidding. I like watching martial arts of any sort. I love to participate, too. I felt so pumped up whenever I shouted and moved about the floor. And though I was tired at the end of a session, I felt good.

The same with cross-country and running.

*sigh*

Yeah I like to beat boys at soccer. At the end of games sometimes they lose their pride and actually congratulate me for how good of a soccer player I am. I've beaten my one crushe's team and he looked really upset and I tied Kevin's team, and he said good job  . Girls, always attend a sport you love that your crush also likes, it makes you get closer to them. I reccommend it.

That's true and I say that as a guy. We like it when someone we like as a friend-or sometimes more than a friend-shows up in support. I've done plays and I feel so cool that people who know me are out in the audience cheering for me.
Oh, we should open a thread for that!
But onto sports...yeah, guys do feel bad when girls beat us. We're all like, "I'm not a man anymore!" Then whenever we look in the mirror, we see ourselves with makeup on.

I don't want to think about it anymore.

I don't get it what's wrong with a girl beating a guy in any sport? That's what I don't get about boys......can't girls be just as good of athletes as boys, even better? What makes guys think like that?
