When I first saw this movie, I was so excited. I was told that it was the funniest movie in years. Then I saw it and I was like, "THIS is supposed to be FUNNY? What's funny about it?"
I found it to be so stupid and idiotic and I really loathed Napoleon. But then I watched it again a few months later and it's not as bad as I thought but not the lol fest everyone makes it out to be. 3/5.
I always hope for the best...experience unfortunately has taught me to expect otherwise

Hey I caught Napoleon cruising around at Terra's school in Things Change. Remember in the library? I heard other people talking about and now that I've seen it I laughed so hard. That's my Napoleon for you! Maybe he was there to eat their tater tots.

I guess I'm in the minority when I saw I never got why people liked this movie. It's like an indie film that's not indie, or a comedy that's not particularly funny. Maybe I'm just bitter? Since before I ever saw the movie I saw people reciting quotes from it and doing that whole "Vote for Pedro" thing. I did watch it with an open mind, however, but it just wasn't funny...and I usually like random comedy. I think I lost a few braincells watching that.

No, you're not bitter, I completely agree with you. I didn't see the significance of this movie at all. I usually love random comedy too, but this was just...BLAH.
nil magnum nisi bonum.
enjoy the moment.

Meh, I thought it was hilarious. I liked everything about it. The dancing scene at the end was great, I couldn't stop laughing  . I know it had no real point, but that didn't matter. It was definetly different from most of the comedys that came out at the time and I don't think anyone could be able to recreate it, it's to unique. Though I just don't like the fact that the people who made it are putting Napoleon Dynamite on everything, major sellouts XP .

Whoa, White Chicks was better than this? ND may not be my favourite movie but root canal is better than White Chicks. I want to see John Heder in more stuff though.
