SparkyX's trip to HK Disneyland

I've finally got the chance to visit Hong Kong Disneyland this week. It was earlier than expected, no thanks to Christmas Holidays.

Anyway, we (me, my family, and my cousins) went there early in the morning to avoid the crowd. But we were wrong. There were already thousands of visitors when we arrived there at 11:00AM on Tuesday. It took us about 40 minutes train ride from Hong Kong to Sunny Bay (HK Disneyland's location name).

Many people said that HK Disneyland is the smallest Disneyland in the world. And I guess they're right. I've never been to any other Disneyland, but I can already tell that it was really small because it only took me 5 minutes (maybe less) to get to Tomorrowland from Adventureland (visit HK Disneyland website for more information).

Main Street, U.S.A. was a very interesting location in Disneyland. It really felt like I was back in time in the U.S. It wasn't just there for decoration, there were many souvenier shops, and restaurants to choose from. I bought a few Minnie's keychains from there, 'cause I like Minnie Mouse!

Adventureland was kinda boring, but the only thing I liked there was the Safari Cruise. Fantasyland was obviously not a place for me. Just by looking at the name, it's obvious that it's an area for the kids. Because it was! Well, except for the Magical Opera Theater and Fantasy Gardens (that's where all the famous Disney characters gather in one place to take pictures with the visitors).

Many people have thought wrong about Disneyland. Disneyland is not about roller-coster ride, or any other adventure rides like in Ocean Park (only HK people know this place). It is all about the characters, taking pictures, and shopping. As for me, I kinda enjoyed the trip to HK Disneyland because I love the Disney characters, and the beautiful architecture there. But it is not recommended for those who like adventures though.

I'm planning to go again this Christmas with my gf, and friends. 'Cause we didn't have time to visit some of the locations. Anyway, I have a few photos of me and my family at Disneyland for your viewing plessure:

It does look smaller than the other ones, but prettier in some aspects. It looks like you guys had a blast; we're (my family) suckers for Disney too.

It's cool that you got a picture with Minnie since she's your favorite. I got a picture with Chip and Dale and Pluto. xD

Geez, now I want to go see all of the Int'l Disneys (except for the Paris one, no offense) .

I've been to my home Disneyland in Anaheim, CA (it's an hour plane ride or 6 hour drive away) about 5 times, so I want to see something different.

I live inFlorida, so I'm pretty close to Disneyland. I love going there during the summer! Unfortunately, due to all these damn hurricanes, I haven't been able to go yet...oh well!

I went to Disney World down in Florida.

I like...Space Mountain...it glows.

Then I went on a Disney cruise one time. Anyway.

Well, it looks like you had a lotto fun there Sparky! And you like Minnie too! She's my favorite character! (except for Donald ::glomps Donald plushie::)
I took a Disney drawing class one time where we got to learn how to draw the Disney characters, the older classes got to animate them, I wasn't in that class...unfortunately. I drew Minnie alot, it was something about drawing her that made it fun. ^_^ .....Mickey's overrated....
