I would say Amy Lee, Billie Joe Armstrong,Vanessa Cariton, and Shirley Manson.
Lee: “Hey, have you heard? The upcoming Chuunin exam will have rookies for the first time in five years.”

Tenten: “No way. The Jounins must be trying to look good.”

Lee: “I heard that three of them are from Kakashi’s unit.”

Neji: “That’s interesting.”

Tenten: “Either way...”

Neji: “...It’s pitiful for them.”

Oooh, that's a tough one..there's so many singers I ....but most of 'em are parts of bands...so lemme think about it...hmm...

Okay, I guess I'd have to say:

Avril Lavigne [I only like her newer stuff tho', some of her old stuff I'm not so keen on!]

Kelly Clarkson [Well, I did dedicate a song fic to her song Miss Independent!]

Chris Cornell [He's got a really refreshingly rock-like voice, me likey!]

That's all I can think of, for now! @_@ ...

Heh. For me, there are only a few. Vocal Gods and Greats. Three per.

Vocal Gods:

Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden and Solo albums): There is no equal. Rob Halford is the only one who comes close. This man has ridiculous range in his voice and he just sounds bada$$. An example of his range you say? Listen to "Hallowed Be Thy Name". You'll understand.

Rob Halford (Judas Priest and Fight): Another vocal god. The man is near untouchable and few can equal him.

Klaus Meine (The Scorpions): Everyones heard this guy at least once. Most likely from "Rock You Like A Hurricane". The man can certainly belt out a tune and some of the songs are soothing.

Greats:

Alice Cooper (Alice Cooper): Everyone knows him. Some of his songs are the most infamous in rock. Many of his bands songs are almost storylike and come on, Everyones heard "Schools Out" at some point. (I so wanted to start singing this at my high school graduation, but no one would with me. Damn pansies)

David Lee Roth (Van Halen- Debut album-1984) Great voice back then. Too bad drugs and alcohol shot his voice all to hell.

Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots): A pretty good voice. Stone Temple Pilots was actually a good band, when this guy wasn't in jail that is.

Special Mention:

Joey Ramone (The Ramones): I'm over six, but I had to put him in. I grew up listening to this guy. There will never be another like him or the Ramones, even if they didn't always get along. RIP

Finally, I will agree with Windshear. Ozzy is frickin' awesome.

Bjorn "Speed" Strid from Soilwork is an amazing singer.

Quorthon from Black Metal innovators Bathory (actually it's mor or less just him) may not "sing," but his raspy and evil vocal style has influenced almost every Black Metal band. Too bad he died last year.

Of all the Iron Maiden singers (Paul Di'anno, Bruce Dickinson, and Blaze Bayley) I've only heard Dickinson sing. But alot of their current contemporaries (i.e. the others on Ozzfest) liked Paul better.

^ Well, make no mistake, the first two Maiden albums with Di'anno rocked, but he is nothing compared to Dickinson. Case in point. Wrathchild was one of the best songs off the "Killers" album. Then they did a studio version with Bruce and stuffed it on the first disc of the Ed Hunter compilation. Listen to them one after the other. Theres no comparison. However, one does have to wonder what Maiden would have been like if Di'anno wasn't fired by the rest of the band for being such a screw up. Guaranteed it would have been much different. Probably more of the punk metal stuff that littered the first two albums.

My own opinion of Bayley is that he got a bum rap. Everyone kept comparing to Dickinson. As much as I like Bruce, that was totally unfair to compare the two of them. I actually liked the Blaze Bayley era, but no one seems to agree with me. It's like the Priest stalwarts who didn't like Ripper Owens, who was great by the way, just because he wasn't Halford. Make no mistake though, I'm glad Bruce is back.

By the way Windshear. If you want a real good taste of Maiden, you should pick up the "Visions Of The Beast" DVD. It holds every Maiden music video ever made, in total theres about 20-30 plus bonus ones. Every one is great, although the "Women In Uniform" video is embarrasing.

One final thing. I should have put David Coverdale on my list. Unfortunatly, unless you remember Whitesnake (likely from "Here I Go Again") or are a Deep Purple fan, you won't know who he is. Lita Ford was pretty good to. Plus, she looked great in leather; an added bonus.

I know way more about most rock bands than most should bother to. I suppose I love my rock and heavy metal music just a bit too much.

Okay, by paragraph. Ive been thinkin of just getting the first four (Because that's what they are only doing on Ozzfest) or the new Greatest Hits that's comin' out soon.

Yeah, even BNR said Blaze got a bum rap.

How much is it. I've only got $60 on me now and I already get two CD's every other week.

Eh, I'm not in to Glam/Sleaze/Hair stuff.

Metal. What else is there worth listining to. When you think about it it's the only true form of music. Amazing musicianship all arround and not giving a f**k about the mainstreem.

 METAL :wub2:
