The orcs were falling quickly, though they had still managed to claim a good number of Weisslanders, in light of the size of their own forces. The archers fired again, felling some Weisslanders, wounding others and even hitting a few of their own. But the orcs were possessed of some kind of madness, a powerful blood thirst that would not let them stop fighting until every one of them was dead.
"Stand against me if you must, for of course you will. Conflict is just another part of this flawed reality. You need to cling to your concepts and purposes, your feeble honour and glory. None of it serves any purpose in the end. And the end draws close." - Krodalis Thaendil.

"It really is amazing; she killed Kelan Wealer, not that I am complaining, but then the order welcomed her as their new leader. It makes one wonder if I were to ram a blade down her throat, would the monks then follow my commands?" - Mordain Thaendil.

One of the Last Guardians. Suck it.

The Weisslanders continued to push, their force constantly swarming over the battered and broken Orc formation. They cut through their enemy, taking casualties but still doing well. The battle was fierce and bloody, and by the end, many of the Weisslanders were covered in the black blood of their enemy, but soon it was over, and the battlefield around the bridges was eerily quiet, save for the groaning of wounded and dying men.

The last of the orcs fell to the ground, his blood soaking the earth.

Daemmion still watched from his concealment. The men of Weissland were skilled, though to the end the fight had been nothing but a brawl. It was interesting to see.

Aldron rode forward to meet with his troops. They were bloodied, but still doing well. Casualties had been heavy for the forces that went through the breach, but the majority of his men had never engaged the enemy and were in excellent fighting condition. "Make camp," said Aldron. "We will not march on the enemy until tomorrow. Prepare to evacuate the dead and tend to the wounded; burn the Orcs."

Daemmion smirked before his form crumbled away to dust as he left the area.

The next morning, the Weisslanders rose early and formed up into their battalions, preparing to march on Aelendak. Despite the casualties the previous day, the Weisslanders were in good spirits, ready to fight to free their land of the taint of necromancy. Lord Aldron rode in front of the troops, inspecting them for a moment before ordering, "Move out."
