Participants: Hotshot (GM) Queeg Lathaon Gorfang High Marshal Andy Kaizer009 Haradiscool Allicat Justsomeguy Lord Sunnycool Hotshot has been made GameMaster (GM) for this first round, though we will most likely see a new GameMaster for the next round - to mix things up a little. With nine participants we would have how many mafia members and how many civilians? At the request of Lathaon, we shall now discuss what setting we would like to have for our game of Mafia. I will come up with some basic ideas, but you are more than welcome to come with your own as well and hopefully we will soon have decided upon a theme. Possible themes/settings: Modern. A small city/comminty of some kind with a small local police force (like a sheriff). Discuss which country it should be set in, if we make it modern. Possible ideas: USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Russia, Italy, Germany, France, Finland, etc.) Medieval. A small town with a town guard as authority. Post-apocalyptic town. Something like Fallout 3's setting. Mass Effect universe. Perhaps set on the Citadel and the "police" would be C-Sec. Star Wars? Mafia could be swapped with Sith or something. Just an idea I am mostly inclined to make it a modern setting - perhaps in Europe. The other setting could be fun to try out - but perhaps not at this occasion, since we have so many newcomers. Nothing personal So as far as I see we have one person who does NOT want it to be Modern or Mass Effect and one who wants it to be the Simpsons. Does that mean that the GM chooses or what? If nobody except for Lathaon really cares? Well we still need some other people to voice their opinion too.
