"James Castoden leads his own men, together with Timus Aldron. Then there is Jaunne of the Order of the Light," Solo Fryysen said, still not knowing what to say. Vedgar moved in the background. He turned, sharply and walked in the other direction in the corridor. Ariakas did not notice it. "Very well," he bent down beside Bana, the young man was still breathing and was gaining his consciousness. "I must leave now." |

"Well, I'll not deny you the freedom to do so," Medran said, "though I would have been interested to hear more of what you remember." |

"I presume you have your house here in Asulien, Medran?" Ariakas said. Solo Fryysen turned to find that Vedgar had disappeared, but he threw the thought out and turned back to Ariakas and Bana. |

"Yes," Medran said, puzzled as to why Ariakas had asked that. |

"Maybe when this is all over I find you and explain it in detail," Ariakas said with a smile as he helped Bana up. "But right now my gut feeling tells me we have little time for that." Solo Fryysen nodded. The Loremaster of the White Realm was right. |

"Now if you excuse me," Ariaksa said, "I need to get my friend here out in fresh air." Then he helped Bana down the corridor. Solo Fryysen and Medran was left in the corridor. "I simply do not think I am supposed to understand what's going on here," Solo Fryysen said after a moment of silence. |

"I think his name was significant somehow," Medran said after a pause. "There must be a reason that man has masked his name with another, but perhaps it is something we know nothing about." |

Solo Fryysen was, for the first time in many years, outright confused. "Does the fact that he could only remember the name Fizban Dantares in the beginning mean that that is the real name of Ariakas?" |

"Not necessarily, but he did sound sure of it, and if Ariakas is an identity he chose for himself at some point in life then it makes sense that he might have forgotten that," Medran said. "And perhaps Tarain Pathfinder might know something more than what Lathaon Thaendil took from him." |

"Dantares?" Solo Fryysen said. "There has to be more to that name. But Ariakas is at the moment right, all this have to wait until later." |

Mordain continued on out of the catacombs, still carrying Korth. He took the druid to a healer's house, leaving him there to be tended to. Now, he had dispatch scouts to find Kalon and see to the defences of the city. A drop of snow landed on his staff. He looked up to see a heavy snowfall descending. Winter had finally arrived. |

With the mumbling directions of Bana, Ariakas managed to find the way out of the sanctuary. The streets right outside the main doors were surprisingly empty. Ariakas had expected them to be full and busy, but it did not bother him. He led Bana across the street where the young man sat down on a bench. "What happened?" Ariakas asked, not wanting to waste any time. "Cloudwulfe," Bana explained. "He was with me, but something happened to him and he attacked me." "Good to hear you managed to bring him all the way here. Are you alone?" "No. Justin and Ranorist is in Asulien as well." Ariakas frowned at this and sat down together with Bana, it was beginning to snow. Ariakas would have to find better clothing. "What happened to you?" Bana asked, referring to the looks of Ariakas, his lack of hair both on his head and in his face. "This?" Ariakas stroke his face, letting his fingers trace where his eyebrows should have been. "I do not know for exact. I have stepped where no man should ever step, and I paid the price I believe. But something tells me, I will not know the price until the end. Come on, let's find Ranorist and Justin." "What about Cloudwulfe?" "I want him to calm down, whatever it was that made him attack you." Together Bana and Ariakas walked down the street leading to the inn where Justin and Ranorist waited. |

On the wall where Nathaniel Drakkon stood, he saw the snow beginning to fall. He held out his hand, feeling the snowflakes land on it, soft and wet. The black-clad man sighed deeply, this would be little hindrance to the undead, but it could be bad for Weissland. He turned away and left, heading for the room he had been assigned. |

Mordain had moved to a vantage point atop one of the battlements, an area which was wide and allowed a view of the city, though was still a safe distance from the outer wall. There, he had a table with a map of the city. Around him, Seeker officers stood, as well as military leaders and anyone who could help organise the defences, for the most-part. Some key figures were still missing. "How goes the construction of pits beyond the wall?" asked Mordain, staring out across the landscape which was quickly being covered in snow. "Good, my Lord, though the workers are slowed by the snow. They are tired, my Lord. Perhaps they should rest?" replied one of the Seeker officers. "Would they rather be dead than tired? This city needs to be defended, and we are running out of time!" |

((It's still one day until Drathmor arrives right?)) Gonhin lay on the bed of the room they had rented. Telen sat by the window, carving out projectiles for his crossbow. Turak sat on the opposite end of the room, looking darkly into the burning fireplace. They would never have gotten this room, because of all the refugees, for themselves was it not for Master Damian's influence. Suddenly the door banged open and a tall, black-cloaked man with a face covered by a deep hood entered. A cold wind blew with him and the burning flames in the fireplace were extingushed immediately. "Cyrush," Turak stood up immediately. "Silence," the man responded. Telen stood up as well, but when Cyrush turned his face to him he sat down again without a word. "I have a task for you," Cyrush said. "You are to enter the forest outside Asulien, find the camp of the dark elves led by Kalon Cyreddlues and capture Arhaina. Bring here away to safety." "Safety?" Gonhin stood up. "Are we to save Arhaina?" "You are to follow my orders. Do it quickly, Drathmor is not far away." |

((More or less, yeah.)) "And the interior defences?" pressed Mordain. "Roads are being sealed off in the indicated places. People are being moved further back, houses are being torn down so that their material may be used to strengthen the defences and the battlements themselves are being reinforced." "Good. Summon all mage lords you can find. I need them to prepare magical traps." "As you command, my Lord." replied the Seeker officer. ((Ariakas, Seekers will be looking for your mage lord characters.)) |

Solo Fryysen just stepped out in the street again when a Seeker called out his name. "What is it?" Solo asked. "Lord Mordain calls for you. Your magical skills are needed in the preparing of the traps." Solo nodded. "Of course." Soon later, mage lords Andros, Solo, Mistrandar and Boralays were all present at the walls. Vedgar, Amalrith and Tidurion was missing. "We are ready Mordain," Solo Fryysen said as he stepped forth. [[Meanwhile, Telen, Turak and Gonhin leaves Asuliens. Enters Dark Elf Camp]] |
