The three flagships were separated now after the fleet's reform and the Heavenly Glaive no longer had the cover of Raven's Might, nor its harpoon.

The battle started to even out. Without the aid of the monster, the dark elves were no longer at an advantage, though all three present flagships of Weissland had taken some damage by now. It seemed that neither side could gain an advantage either.

What followed next was a disaster for Thalian's fleet. A strong westerly wind picked up, blowing the ships off course and throwing up waves as it did so. Weissland's ships were better equipped for rough seas, but the wind was against them and towards the Senian Sea. The dark elves followed them eastwards for a short time, but it was difficult to control a ship's movement, let alone fire its weapons at the same time.

Some of the ships capsized. The dark elf fleet turned back once more and used oars to retreat to Rathor.

Around a quarter of the passenger ships made it to Dacorn, a few ended up joining the fleet and the rest drifted eastwards. Of those, about half hit the coast safely.

Thalian ordered his fleet northwards to dock at Edaurn.

Jaeril had been moved below deck where a Shadow Mage and the ship's doctor tended to her. The toxin in her hand was potent and had to be contained, until it could be removed. But removing it was beyond the power of anyone onboard.

The first mate directed Raven's Might to follow the Glaive towards Edaurn.
"Stand against me if you must, for of course you will. Conflict is just another part of this flawed reality. You need to cling to your concepts and purposes, your feeble honour and glory. None of it serves any purpose in the end. And the end draws close." - Krodalis Thaendil.

"It really is amazing; she killed Kelan Wealer, not that I am complaining, but then the order welcomed her as their new leader. It makes one wonder if I were to ram a blade down her throat, would the monks then follow my commands?" - Mordain Thaendil.

One of the Last Guardians. Suck it.
